I could not disagree more with your post and judging by your post count I will assume you are just trolling until proven otherwise. Nope, not a troll. Been going to games for a looooooong time. Love the direction on the court, off the court Im 180 degrees the other direction. I don't believe you. But to humor your previous post... "At this point NU can't be picky. We need a full roster for next season. Until we have some success, if they have talent we have to take them assuming reasonable character." This is 100% the wrong move to make. Nebraska absolutely cannot take player just to have a full roster next season. Do I want Nebraska to have a full roster next season? Yes. But that is only if the right players are available for Nebraska to sign. Just taking players in order to make sure Nebraska has a full roster is one of the reasons that Nebraska has been where they have been under previous coaching staffs. You don't take a handful of players that are a reach, just to have a full roster, and then cross your fingers hoping it works out, because those players take up roster spots in future years as well. "I wonder if Miles regrets not following up on Doc's two big men? Both played this season against Creighton. The one whose last name started with an "F" could have played this year. He was serviceable. The other was a juco with little high school experience but showed promise with a redshirt year and three years to play, I believe. He had upside and may have been worth the risk." I would be shocked if Miles regrets not following up on Doc's two big men. Probably hasn't even given it another thought. "With the new arena one year away and a state-of-the-art practice facility I am unmoved by Miles recruiting." Not sure what your issue with recruiting is. Is Nebraska expected to start signing classes full of 4-Star/5-Star players in the first season? No. The current recruiting class is better than any recruiting class that Nebraska has had for a long time. And Nebraska is still looking at 2 more players. Nebraska has signed a 4-Star in this recruiting class. When was the last time Nebraska did that before Miles came to town? Nebraska has signed 2 players ranked in the top-25 of their position. When was the last time Nebraska did that before Miles came to town? http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/169923/tai-webster http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/104934/nick-fuller "Im equally unmoved by his ability to keep coaches. At least when Doc lost coaches they were to top programs, Marquette and UCLA. Miles is losing to Minny and Bradley. I hope the new AD is giving Miles money to keep coaches. Matthews got a 60% increase in pay to go to UCLA and was the lead recruuiter for S Mohamned, a likely freshman 1st round pick." Not sure what you expect differently out of this situation. People move back closer to home. It happens. Johnson moved back home and also back to his alma mater. Again, not sure what you expect differently out of this situation. It would likely be the same situation if a former Nebraska football player was offered a chance to come back to Nebraska and coach. Would the fans at Oregon get bent out of shape if Scott Frost came back to coach at Nebraska if he was offered the job? I don't imagine that they would be. It happens. Troll.

Sai Tummala -> Arizona St.-> Hawaii

Only Michigan and Indiana are affected by early entrants and not sure if you notice but both are bringing in a top 5 or 6 class in the country. The B1G hasnt really gone down but reloaded for the past 5 years. Expecting that many wins is sipping a lot of red kool-aid. I don't at all think that expecting that many wins next season is sipping a lot of red kool-aid. Looking at this season, if Nebraska doesn't lose to Kent St and UTEP then they would only be 1 game away from 18 wins. I don't think that it is ridiculous to think the turnover next season could get Nebraska 1 more win out of the rest of the schedule. Especially considering that Creighton’s roster is taking a HUGE hit losing Doug McDermott (2-time AP All American), Gregory Echenique, Grant Gibbs, and Nevin Johnson (Headliner of their 2011 class which was dubbed by some Creighton fans and some Creighton writers to be the 'Fab-four'). (That's if McDermott goes to the NBA, which I think he will.) -

(Bolded part) I'm pretty sure Norm called this one like a month ago... I think he may have even used the exact words about his recruitment "blowing up". Nice work -

Was Johnson Sai's lead recruiter? No. But Im sure that he still had plenty of contact with him while he was at Nebraska and you know that he is the coach on that new Minnesota staff that was pushing to offer him. -

"His hometown school, Arizona State, has jumped into the picture with an offer, as has Minnesota under new coach Richard Pitino. He recently visited Nebraska, which has turned up its interest, and will visit Georgia in the next week or so." Interesting how Minnesota has just jumped into the picture with an offer... -

Unfortunately, they'll still be much more talented. Maybe... Who really knows? We have 6 maybe 7 possible guys that have never even seen the floor. Not saying they will be the best 6 or 7 guys in the Big 10... but no one really knows right now. This is great for us though, as it allows us to possibly catch some teams by surprise and make a run at doing something next season. I agree with this. I'm not saying that I expect Nebraska to light the Big Ten on fire, I do expect to see some considerable improvement. Nebraska played most of the Big Ten teams pretty close this season and in most cases Nebraska didn't even look like they belonged on the same court with those teams. If some of the players with NBA talent on those other teams arent there next season, then that is obviously a good thing for Nebraska (Although it may not be the best thing for the prestige of the conference as a whole). Next season I expect Nebraska to actually start looking like a basketball team again (physically, eyeball test, length, athletically). They may not look like Duke or North Carolina, but they can look like a legit basketball team. -
