  1. Or maybe Yasin Kolo of Hartford (Center) will get a look. Height: 6'10" Weight: 250 lbs http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/players/playerpage/1904292/yasin-kolo #12 (red) in the video:
  2. He has played 23 TOTAL minutes in two years at Manhattan. What makes you think he would all of a sudden be able to play in the B1G? He's Serj part deaux. Were Pitchford, Petteway, and Smith All-Stars before they transferred to Nebraska?I didn't say "This guy is an absolute stud and Nebraska absolutely has to get him on this roster." All I said was "Maybe he will get a look from Nebraska".
  3. Maybe Adam Lacey from Manhattan will get a look from Nebraska: Position: Center Height: 6'10" Weight: 230 Year: Freshman Hometown: San Diego, Calif. HS: San Diego High School 2012-13 Lacey Game-by-Game Stats 2012-13: Appeared in 12 games during the season, averaging 1.8 minutes ... made collegiate debut in a win over Hofstra (11/21) ... scored first career points at George Washington (12/2) ... grabbed two rebounds in a win over Canisius (2/7). Before Manhattan: Top 100 recruit at his position in the nation for 2012 according to ESPN.com... lettered four years at San Diego High School playing for head coach Wes Brown... averaged nearly 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks per contest as a senior to earn First Team San Diego Section honors... garnered First Team All-Eastern League as a junior... named the Cavers team MVP as a junior and senior... played AAU ball with the Compton Magic for head coach Etop Udo-Ema helping the team earn number one spot, according to Areacodesbasketball.com's "Top 20 West Coast Teams" list. http://gojaspers.com/mobile/ViewArticle.dbml?atclid=205710895&DB_MENU_ID=&SPSID=&SPID=&DB_OEM_ID=12500
  4. Awesome! Thanks a lot for posting this. I have been trying to find a list like this.
  5. In the newest Rivals rankings, Morrow made if into the Rivals150. He is ranked as the #105 overall prospect in the 2015 class.

  8. This is from someone closer to the situation than I am: "He would be a role player. He will land at either Nebraska, South Dakota, or UNO. Tim Miles really likes him."
  9. 6'4" Guard. Originally from Omaha, NE. I understand that we would like to see Nebraska get a Grad Transfer Center, but I figured I would post this, because (unlike most of the Grad Transfers we talk about on here) he actually has a legit connection to Tim Miles (Tim Miles recruited him to CSU), as well as a legit connection to the state of Nebraska. I'm not saying that I think Nebraska should go all-in on him...just posting this because it is out there. http://www.csurams.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/dwight_smith_711073.html
  10. Some people have concerns about Morrow's size as it relates to him playing the 4-spot. As a Jr in high school, Morrow's newest measurements are 6'7", 210 lbs. (That is what David Rivers is right now as a Jr in college). With him being a Jr in high school right now, it would not be crazy to think that he could grow another 1, maybe even 2, inches over the next 2 years. There is also a very good chance that he could gain 15-20 lbs over the next 2 seasons, which would put him at 6'7" (or 6'8"-6'9") and 230 lbs as a true freshman. Add in the fact that he is more explosive, more athletic, and more skilled than the players that Nebraska currently has playing the 4-Spot...and that is a pretty substantial upgrade, in my opinion. Here is the link to his current rivals profile: http://sports.yahoo.com/nebraska/basketball/recruiting/player-Edward-Morrow-153098
  11. I couldn't agree more. I believe that Nebraska will win 22-24 games next season.
  12. Tim Miles is giving Nebraska a chance to re-write the Nebrasketball narrative. It doesn't matter that people used to call Devaney "the library". Tim Miles is leading a Nebrasketball revolution. We have a chance to re-invent this thing and create whatever Gameday culture we want. That opportunity doesn't come around all that often. Especially with the national interest that the program is gaining. Just like with recruiting, Nebraska needs to strike while the iron is hot. And not let this opportunity go to waste.
  13. I like that idea of "No-Sit Senior Day"I also really like the idea of the nonconference "No-Sit Gameday" being Nebraska's Big Ten/ACC challenge game. Especially because, when Nebraska is 4th-ish vs a 4th-ish ACC team, that will be a decent game, with potential to be on TV, maybe ESPN. Potentially great exposure for both the team and fanbase on a big stage.
  14. I like that idea of "No-Sit Senior Day"
  15. Agree with this here. I'm all for an intimidating atmosphere. And I'm all for the No Sit declarations for 1 or 2 games a year. Big games. But beyond that and it probably loses quite a bit of luster. I mean, what is the point of standing the entire game against a Citadel-type team? We start to do that for all the 300+ RPI teams then when Wisconsin comes to town, it's the same thing, just another game and no big deal. We want a special atmosphere for those couple of games that the team really needs it. Let's not waste it on The Citadel. I'm all for supporting the team during a big run no matter the game and still will rise during a spectacular play, just feel the No Sit the entire game should be saved for select occasions. By the way, I think the crazy atmosphere thing will kinda take care of itself anyway. Does the Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Duke, etc athletic departments have to urge their fans to stand up and be loud? We did it in year one and it should only get better. I agree. Like I said in the original post, I think you should only do it 2 times per season, otherwise it might lose effect. I think the biggest nonconference game and 1 conference game vs a top10-top15 team at the end of the conference regular season. And I realize that Creighton won't be a top10-top15 team next season. The only reason that I think they should do it for Creighton next season, is because it is going to be the game when Nebraska officially takes basketball back in the state of Nebraska (hopefully in very dramatic fashion). I thought it would be nice for the fans to flex their muscles as the more intimidating fanbase in that game as well. The importance of that game is more about what it symbolizes in terms of the power shift in this state, not so much about the quality of team that Creighton is. That's all I was trying to say in the original post.
  16. Maybe that person that is standing thinks it is annoying when people are sitting down, instead of standing up and yelling and making PBA as intimidating as places like Duke, Michigan St, etc... The fans being loud has an undeniable impact on the game. Why do you think "No-Sit Sunday" is the only game that Tim Miles rated an A+? It's because that is the environment he wants opposing teams to have to play in when they come to PBA. Because it has a direct, positive impact on the outcome of the game...
  17. No one is expected to stand. But if you don't, you may not be able to see. Kind of like paying for a seat but running the risk of sitting behind Dave Hoppen. lol..I know the people behind me next season better be ready to either be standing with me or looking at my back side. I plan on standing. If they make the comment that they paid for their seats so have a right to see the game...I will just say I paid for mine too so I have just as much a right to stand and sit when I chose. Good luck with the ushers, and then the police, if you insist on that every game, all game, all season. If it becomes an issue where ushers and police are involved, then Nebraska fans still don't get it... I really doubt that the police are going to come to a basketball game just to make someone site down. I mean if I was tossing garbage...or yelling obscenities....but I hardly doubt that anyone is going to kick someone out for standing. I'll wait until they said the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and the Salvation Army. Haha. I was thinking the same thing.

  20. I thought I would throw this out there. He is currently committed to Marquette, but that could change, since the coaching staff is leaving. He is from Sun Prairie, WI (same as Nick Fuller). Rivals ranks him as a 4-Star, Rivals150 player and the #52 overall prospect in the 2015 class. Here's the link to his profile: http://sports.yahoo.com/marquette/basketball/recruiting/player-Nick-Noskowiak-134567
  21. After a breakout sophomore season, West Virginia guard Eron Harris has decided to transfer. “I have enjoyed my time at West Virginia University the past two years, but I want to transfer closer to home,” Harris said in a statement. “I want to be closer to my family, especially being around my little brother.” Harris, a 6-foot-3 guard from Indianapolis, averaged 17.2 points and 3.5 rebounds this past season for the Mountaineers. He shot 42.2 percent from 3-point range. Harris put up at least 20 points in 11 games, but was slightly inconsistent down the stretch. “We have enjoyed Eron and his contributions to Mountaineer basketball,” head coach Bob Huggins said. “Of all people, I certainly know what it is like to be closer to family and friends, that’s why I did it as a student-athlete then as a coach.” http://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaab/eye-on-college-basketball/24499096/west-virginia-scoring-guard-eron-harris-transferring
  22. I would be shocked if Nebraska's staff didn't have him at the top of their "Possible Transfer" list.
