According to this morning's World-Hearld we have offered Taylor Kissinger of Minden, Ne a scholarship. Others who have offered are Creighton, Illinois, Oklahoma State & Iowa State. Her older twin sisters are at Illinois & San Diego State.

Chloe Akin-Otiko might be a hard get for us since her older sister plays for Creighton.

The answer was in the newspaper this morning, so its really not to hard to find.

I think family had a lot to do with this. I talked to her Aunt & Uncle before one of the games and they basically told me that if Kaylee was getting starter minutes then she would show what she is capable of. She just did not have a chance with here limited minutes. I have also watched her mother in particular looking more & more irritated watching the games. Also I remember when she gave us her commitment a fan of another team stated "Congratulations on recruiting Kaylee, now you are going to have to deal with her family."

I agree on the coaching staff. Deb Patterson is probably the coach I dislike the most. In addition to the events that Row 6 talks about there was also the time that KState beat us in the last moments and Debby basically lead a little circle jerk at mid court and taunts our fans. Or the time she was ejected and stood back in the tunnel and coached until the refs noticed her and told here to desist and she gave them the bird as she headed to the locker room.

This seems to be a bad situation to me. Travel all afternoon to a place that is difficult to get to and then have to play with no shoot around. I would say WSU has got us right where they want us.

Speaking of Rachel, Was that her at the game with Lanie Page yesterday. If so with Rachel, Lanie, Jess and I think Maddie Simon all sitting together was great.

I will agree on the 15th prediction. We get this on reputation. With two sweet sixteen's and a B1G tournament championship we are given the benefit of the doubt now. As far as the best recruiting class, I would think the one with Corey Montgomery, Vonnie Turner, Kala Kuhlman has to be up there.

Bitter much, I spent many years on the Board of Directors so I know what I talk of. Back in my time we did a lot. Now not so much. Why are 20 board members needed to accomplish the little that they do now. Just as you say the Husker Athletic Fund now sucks up to 30% of the Fastbreaker funds and gives very little in return. I now belong to a group who has set up a fund with the foundation and our donations go 100% to the women's basketball team to be used at their discretion. From the reaction to my earlier post, I assume HB and Row 6 are board members.

Ah yes, The Fastbreakers Board of Directors. A group of 20 people whose only function seems to be to smooze with the team and spend money donated to the womens program. Can someone tell me what this group does to justify having twenty members or what ever number it happens to be.

Look out bugeater, you are just a couple rows ahead of us. So if you get bombarded with popcorn you will know where it comes from.:>)

Norm, I don't know how often I have to make my views on Haille Sample known. I 100% guarantee that Haille will be in the starting line next year. The coaches absolutely love her play. She is probably one of the top two or three top defensive players in the Big 10. She is a good offensive rebounder. She is one of the smartest players on the team, she understands what the coaches want better than anyone. She personally won two-three games for Nebraska last year. She works really hard at her game. You keep harping on her offensive shortcomings but never address the defensive shortcomings of all these high school kids. Coaches at Nebraska value defense before everything else. If any of the returning starters get benched, it would be T first. If no injuries I would predict that the four starters will start all games next year.

From reading this article is seems as if Kaylees work ethic is off the charts. Almost like Kelsey Griffin and nobody works harder than Kelsey. Really excited to see her this fall.

I am for a change because something that has always bugged me can be corrected. We do have a very successful women's basketball team at the University of Nebraska.
