I'm Guessing things like jumping and running the floor as well as I know she can. Also being able to push back with more strength when some of these opposing big girls are leaning all over her. Or flashing to the high post, receiving the pass and making a quick first step drive to the hoop. These are all things I know she can do but hasn't shown us yet.

I agree about the Iowa loss. If we would have won that game we would be on Charlie's list as a 8 seed rather than Iowa.

everyone I know is still excited about this year and the possibilities of improvement thru the year and only look ahead to see how the recruits are doing.

Solid first post but it should be clarified that we are not playing in the best BB conference. Presently the BIG is ranked 6th after the Big 12, Pac 12, Big East, ACC & even the SEC. Never going to find the BIG easier than this year.

I agree that the 3 clap is lame, but so is the Husker Power during introductions. That's the best you can come up with. How about just some polite applause. Since everybody has some silly introduction thing, this might mess with the opponents mind more that anything else. Ok ,blast me all you young superstars.

The refs are doing bad job but they are supposedly some of the best. If you watch much WBB on television you will see them all over the country. Lisa Parks who put the screw job on us in Cal has worked multiple national championship games. Ann Schroeder who did our game yesterday must do 5-6 games a week. So what's the answer to get good officiating.

One of the refs that did the game yesterday is in Lubbock today and is doing the same thing down there as he did here yesterday. Brain Hall if you must know.

>Our bounce passes are too low to bigs inside....big's should always get passes above the waist....In general terms...bigs play above the waist, and guards play lower usually. Bigs play more straight up positioning. The problem with this theory is that waist high bounce passes will be stolen the great majority of the time. You either have to handle the low passes or not make them. Over the top passes are probably the best but Kyndal tried one yesterday and got it swatted back at her. Getting the ball to your post with a chance for her to do something with it is a real art.

The game time is late because of UNL graduation ceremonies in the morning. Doors open 60 minutes prior to tip-off as opposed to 90 minutes for most games. The deal is we don't know how long she is out . I asked Julie Tuttle, the team trainer how long? She said you will just have to go by what you hear in the media, on the Internet and the person in the seat behind you. They all may or may not know what they are talking about. I have heard anywhere from three to eight weeks. If it's three she will be back, if its eight then who knows. We will just have to see how it plays out.

I don't know if we recruited her but she stated that it came down to Iowa or Creighton. So we only have to put up with her once a year vs 2-3 times a year if she were at Iowa.
