Good luck to Sunny. This is a loss because of her coaching and recruiting abilities but also because of what a great person Sunny is. Going to miss the post game meals we had with Sunny. Good luck and take care Sunny.

I am amazed she lasted as long as she did also. I have always felt the KSU athletics are a lot like a cult and as long as you are winning everything is fine. And Patterson could always pull something out like winning the WNIT whenthey had a losing Big 12 record. Also until recently she usually had a local star like Wecker or Lehning to keep the fans excited. The KSU fans also think that Voepal has it in for them even though she is one the best WBB writers around. This comes from the expo Voepalwrote many years ago about the religious and sexual orientation of Patterson's staff. I really started to dislike Patterson about five years ago. It was the game where K-State scored a lay-up at the buzzer to win by one. Patterson instead of allowing the team a reasonable celebration and then head to locker room,she allowed them to stay on the floor celebrating and generally rubbing the win in our faces for many minutes.

I will be there early checking out the crowd with Mrs Breaker trying to find Bug and his lovely lady.

Hailie Sample is not losing her starting job next year. Coaches love her, all Big-10 defensive team, shut down the best scorers in the B1G, can body up underneath and still chase quicker wings on the perimeter, in top 10 in conference in offensive rebounds, top 15 overall rebounding. Made an outstanding defensive play in virtually every close game we were in this year. Understand the game plan better than anyone.

My guess is that Havers will show a tremendous amount of development over the summer and will move into the starting line-up. It really won't matter much because Connie will be able to go back to her preferred substitute in waves defensive system so a lot of players will see minutes.

I agree not even debatable. Now the one that is debatable is Lindsey. As great as she was to us, she is lacking in conference and national awards. I don't think she was ever first team all conference. That guard from Penn State, Alex something or other kept beating her out. We shall see but it is debatable.

Nebraska counts butts in the seats unlike a few other teams that use creative head counts then brag about their attendance figures. We are looking at you Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa State Texas Tech and others.

Should Coach Yori receive a bonus for not fulfilling the terms of her contract bonuses, the same as you are advocating that Coach Miles should receive bonuses for not fulfilling the terms of his contract? After all she was the coaches COTY but not the media and has bonuses written into her contract also.

I read where senior night activities are postgame not pregame like for Zeros last year.

I know this coaching staff well enough that no player will be asked to leave. They may not play much but as long as they keep their grades up and do not get in trouble I'm pretty positive they will not be asked to leave.
