Anyway, Fran got peeved because (guessing here) his Gatorade wasn't cold enough. The 11-year-old and 10-year-old sons of my friend immediately bolted from their seats and pointed at Fran, turned around to face us and screamed "FRANGER! FRANGER!" I thought it was funny.

That written, I'll take 11-9 and an eight seed if that's where this road leads.

Watching Michigan slog through a holiday home game against Realtime RPI #265 Air Force. It happens. And we beat the Realtime RPI #226 by 24.

They're 7-4. Last game was Dec. 15, a 75-63 win against Minnesota-Duluth. They shoot 43 percent from 3, and 81 percent from the line. Leading scorer is Ryan Bruggeman at 23.2 ppg. No big runs, but we're up by 17 at the under-16 timeout. That's what really talented teams do even when it feels like they're playing sluggishly.
