  1. 62-43 Huskers at under-12 timeout.
  2. If you break up the game into 10 four-minute segments, Nebraska has won only three of the first six. 15-2 10-0 5-6 12-8 10-14 1-4
  3. I wish Iowa were forced to play in it. Man, their non-con schedule is weak outside the B1G-ACC game against Virginia Tech.
  4. If anybody else wants to watch on BTN Plus, my password is "gobigred." Just guess my email.
  5. Trending at Husker Online: "2018 QB Discussion" "So if Scott Frost is named our new HC" "I know you guys are sold on Frost to Nebraska but don't be so sure" "UF has already moved on to Chip Kelly" "Nebraska has informed UCF they want Frost" "could our pass happy offence" (sic) AND FINALLY "Never-North Texas game"
  6. I'm guessing an average of about 5-7, 185 pounds.
  7. Palmer 12 Watson 11 Taylor 7 Roby 7 Team 16-28 from field 4-8 from deep 16-21 from line 22-17 edge on the boards.
  8. I have a Thorir. It's really Akenten. And is that Don Draper's kid?
  9. If Gill's injury is lingering or worse than we thought, Nana might need to play in more than four games.
  10. Palmer 12 points Watson 9 points Roby 5 points Everyone has scored except Duby and Nana 6 blocks by the Huskers, 3 by Copeland, 2 by Duby
  11. Redshirt? Nana, nana, hey, hey, hey, goodbye.
  12. He needs occasionally to just get in rebounding position. When he doesn't get the block, the other team gets an easy put-back. That written, we DO have some awesome rim protectors.
  13. Eureka College last year had a 145-142 and a 149-146 loss.
  14. Agreed. I teach sports reporting at the University of Iowa (moved from Boulder this year), and students try to do too much, speak too quickly and generally just muck things up. This kid has some chops.
  15. Uh, that didn't suck. On either end.
  16. Iowa's non-con schedule ... It's like the SWAC/MEAC challenge, with a couple of in-state games thrown in. Plus, their first two conference games are at home against PSU and at Indiana. Look for Hawkeye hype come January. They should be 16-2 heading into Jan. 20 home game against Purdue.
  17. Meh. With X coming in and similar recruits in the 2019 and 2020 classes, Nana will either earn playing time or he won't. I know we all pined for Brandon Ubel's fifth season, but hopefully we're in a different place going forward regarding the number of players with real B1G potential. Here's to Nana fulfilling his potential in four years!
  18. Go! U Northwestern! Break right through that line. With our colors flying, We will cheer you all the time. U! Rah! Rah! Go! U Northwestern! Fight for victory. Spread far the fame of our fair name. Go Northwestern, win that game! (Whistle) (Yell) Go! Northwestern Go! (Whistle) (Yell) Go! Northwestern Go! Hit 'em hard! Hit 'em low! Go, Northwestern Go! (Repeat chorus.)
  19. Oh, and the season is officially over for Thor and Nana.
  20. You're right. That's tonight's takeaway. 18 points, 4 assists. 5-7 from field. 2-4 from deep. 3 turnovers, most early. Then he just took it to the hoop. We don't want to play without Watson for long, but Allen can help a great deal at the 1 or 2.
