Also Albany was a Jordon school. If Witchita STate has to pay to wear Jumpman on their gear no doubt the Great Danes do too. I'm not sneakerhead but I prefer Nike basketball shoes. I always have for some reason. I guess they're marketing got me early. In fact the only gear I have that is Adidas has Nebraska on it somewhere. So if I was in high school (not not terrible at basketball) and was being recruited. If school X and School Y are on pretty equal ground I might go with the Nike school. Just personal preferance.

Not really a fair comparison. Duke has been wearing that exact same uniform style for as long as I can remember. Creighton just happened to have that style this year, and they probably picked it on their own. Does anybody know if Creighton is actually sponsored by Nike, or do they just wear Nike gear? I know that Wichita State has to pay for their Jordan jerseys because they aren't actually sponsored by Jordan. Wouldn't surprise me if Creighton is in the same boat; they're just given a list of jersey templates to choose from at the beginning of the year and then have to pay Nike to put "Creighton" on them. St. Louis, New Mexico, Wyoming all have the same basic template. That's just the three I can think of off the top of my head. I've only really been paying close attention since this whole "Nebraska should go Nike for the recruits" stuff has popped up.

I'm glad that Creighton finally has the same design for home and away uniforms. They looked like that high school who only had enough money to get one set of new uniforms. Oh I remember those days. When I was a freshman the varsity got brand new away jerseys so we got their hand-me-downs. Loved playing aways games. Home games not so much. John Stockton would have thought our home jereseys' shorts were too short.

When I called to update my seats from the 300 level to the 200 level they said that the lower bowl is filled right now but something could become available after the invoices are sent out and whatever. I believe she said that would be around July 1st. Hope that hasn't been covered here already, I didn't read all the posts.

Not only did I renew but I moved down....a little. Still not in any seats requiring a donation. I'm still too cheap for those and young enough to walk up a few stairs. Be there from the Beginning people! Something to tell you're grandkids about!

Isn't there some other trophy too? I seem to remember in years past that one guy got the MVP and the other possible MVP got some other trophy. I could be wrong and just making stuff up. I do that sometimes to fill gaps in my fading memory.

It's unlikely. There's no rule to say they can't take a team under .500, but there are enough teams out there that would likely be better options than NU that we'd have to get above .500 to really legitimately be considered. It's win the B1G tourney or CBI for us. They're just scared because we've won that tournament before...trying to spread the wealth....commies

That's a pretty good point Norm. As much as we're celebrating the mircale that is this year, we could be cursing his name next year for not being able to turn water into Boone's Farm wine again.

I was trying to figure out when they ever wore those? I t certainly wasn't any game at home, so it must have been a non-televised game which would have defeated the purpose.... I know I couldn't think of when they wore those either.
