  1. Guy who won the free runzas for a year wearing a HHC shirt. Share the wealth buddy
  2. And I know you found those numbers based on actual probability, but I just have a feeling about how we play at home and don't think we drop more than one at home
  3. I would think we have a better than 15% chance of getting to 8 wins since that would mean going 4-1 at home against worse competition than we have played this far, and losing all of the road games. Either way, I'm taking them one at a time at this point and not counting any individual game as a win, but I would be disappointed if we can't find 4 more wins with this remaining schedule
  4. So he has us at 8-9 going into the Wisconsin game at PBA but getting smacked? I will be happy with being 8-9 going into that game but I think the crowd would be more up for that game than any we have had all year and absolutely do not think we would be underdogs. I would be very happy with a 9-9 finish in conference play and would leave me very optimistic about the state of the program
  5. I may be mistaken as well, I thought it was our zone collapsing on them inside that forced a couple of turnovers during our run to start the second half
  6. The top of the 2-3 zone is a lot more intimidating with long guards like Tai and Nate than if you put Benny up there. I felt like the zone really was a difference maker for us in the 2nd half
  7. And 10-8 would mean............NCAAs!!!!! I think 9-9 would put us in a favorable position, probably somewhere around the 6-7 seed in the B1G tourney playing against the 10-11 seed, which would be winnable. The game tonight would be a big step. Holding home court is obviously the big one, anything on the road is a bonus IMO
  8. Surprised Omaha didn't get a bump after the Nevada win last night.
  9. The alcohol that is served at the Wick, Lied, etc. are catered in by a third party. They have licenses that they get for the individual events. I had always been told that alcohol could not be served during NCAA events if they are on a college campus, regardless of wet/dry status. I know that several of the Big 12 schools were "wet" campuses when I was in college, but they did not serve alcohol at any of their football games I attended.
  10. I was pretty impressed with his movement and shooting in that video. Looks a lot thicker than I thought as well. I'd like to have this guy on board for sure, looks to be a big man that can play the perimeter and stretch the floor a little bit. Let's get him.
  11. I could see us being similar to how Iowa was this year. They played every team tough and they are set up to be pretty good this season. I just want to see progress in the right direction, which I fully expect.
  12. Talley was 1-7 on shots that weren't 3-pointers. Since I won't be able to watch the game until probably some time this weekend, what was going on with this?
  13. I had the impression we were not necessarily concerned with replacing him right away. As far as I know this was a new position basically created so that Chin could be a part of the staff without having him as an assistant coach. I could be wrong, but I don't think there is an urgent need for someone to be filling this role. That said, if we can get someone with big recruiting ties to take a position like this, I say we go for it. I just think a lot of the guys we are talking about would be more interested in an assistant coach role, even if it is at a smaller school. Chin certainly was.

  15. Very cool. That's exciting, hopefully we can keep him here awhile, seems to be a great guy and a tremendous recruiter.
