whoopdeedoo Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 i just feel the huskers return to an effort more resembling the msu game. remember, this was the game the huskers had 27 turnovers and still found a way to win--------at Purdue. i really don't envision anything close to 27 turnovers. i believe purdue is +3 in to margin (14-17 for opponents). i knew purdue has lost some games lately, but, didn't realize they were on a 5 game losing streak. purdue will be ready to try to snap that streak, and huskers d will have to keep wilson and perry in check. i know purdue and nebraska has a history of close games, but, i like the huskers to pull out a double digit win in this one. redsteve Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 Just guessing....I kind of got the impression we were going through the motions again OSU...at least in the 2nd half..... "get this over with and move on" ....sort of look on their faces. I too expect a good game against Purdue. We'll be home and we obviously play better and more focused, with the home crowd cheering us on. Not sure why, but Purdue been in a slide the last few weeks, isn't scoring many points, so if we can put up decent numbers, and show some defense...we'll be in it. And we're a better team than when we last played them. Less turnovers. Pretty much over the debilitating injuries... except maybe RT..... at least all can play now anyway. We'll be pretty much full strength inside and lets "Burn" the Boilermakers. ......and hit shoots for better percentages at the perimeter. A little run of wins would be good for this team's morale. Would love to see Nat and RT get untracked. Jess will probably feast on their defense. Agree with whoope....won't be surprised to see a 10-15 point win. Quote
Row6Seat10 Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 The Purdue fan base expect more from their women's basketball program than what they've gotten these past two seasons. The pressure is on head coach Sharon Vrsyp and the more pressure she gets the more she publically throws her players under the bus. They still talk about the tirade she threw where she publically critizied every player in the program for their losing record last year but nothing on her coaching in her year-end press conference. Be good to send her back to Indiana with her 6th loss in a row. We're about to see the worst dressed coach in the Big Ten. Quote
