Our defense seems to be a liability.

Do you think it's time to see some full or 3/4 press and more traps?

We seem to have some depth (I.e. a bunch of guys of relatively the same talent).

Our run 2 years ago started with a change in defensive mentality.

We did apply some pressure on Rutgers at times and it was refreshing to see we were able to force some turnovers out of it. I'd like to see some more of that as the season progresses.

I thought it was great against Rutgers. I am just worried Rutgers was so bad we won't be able to gain anything from the win.

Rutgers was overall bad, yet their back court wasn't the issue.

Seems like we've started getting a little more exotic with our defenses the past couple of weeks. Switching defenses a lot more than we did earlier in the season. Throwing in more zone, some pressing, along with more common man and pack line defense we've grown accustomed to. Could be a product of the opponent or perhaps they're just getting more comfortable as they get more experience. Or a little of both. I think the move towards being a little more creative and keeping teams guessing is a good strategy for this team.

I did see a defensive sequence against Minnesota when I re-watched the game that made me chuckle a bit.  Coach Mo was up and yelling something, and kind of pushed Coach Miles backwards...while Coach Mo was still yelling, Coach Miles casually stepped back in front of him.  Again, simply made me chuckle a bit.
