Get to know Kyndal Clark's situation a little better in this article from the Daily Nebraskan. Good Read!

Soon after being released from Drake, Clark began receiving calls from coaches offering her another year of eligibility. After much discussion with her family, Clark decided to put herself back on the playing field. However, this time around, she wanted a different experience than what she had in her undergraduate years.

“I knew there was only one place I wanted to play, and that place was Nebraska,” Clark said.

“It’s not about the points or the rebounds; it’s not about any of that,” Clark said. “I genuinely love playing with this girls, playing in this uniform and playing here at Nebraska.”

The Husker.com video interview with Jess and Rachel 43..... was a great interview with Kyndal.....she really gets why she's here, and how much it's truly an opportunity to be cherished.

Just a great young lady...and best possible example for the rest of the team.

A team can always use good leaders and good leadership. I think she brings both.

She reminds me of the crafty veteran who is picked up right before the trade deadline to help a young team win the pennet in baseball. Great in the clubhouse and is willing to not play all the time but is ready when called on.

^^^this. once you listen/watch KC, it is easy to see why coach yori brought her on board.

wonder if Alicia Ostrander is getting a bit anxious to join this team?!?   ;)

i say that a little "tongue-in-cheek"---i am sure she has one goal in mind at the moment.

It's only about a month away from the end of Volleyball, so she'll be on the court in a BBall uniform pretty soon. Our bigs will be getting even bigger !

Not sure how ready she'll be, but wouldn't be surprised if she gets in fairly early simply to rebound. She was participating in summer BBall practice a couple of months ago. She's a leader, and experienced collegiate athlete.
