hhcmatt Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Minor Trap game alert - They're going to throw zone, some press, and a slower pace at us. This is one of those games where if you're not careful all of a sudden it's a game with 8 minutes to go. On the flip side, all of their scoring graduated and they've dropped two fairly close games at home (vs Delaware, Penn) in a stadium that seats 3000 people. There is a decent chance they show up here and this game is over in 10 minutes. They probably don't have the fire power to score much more than 60 on us. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 It doesn't sound like a line up changing is in the works for tonight. There likely will be tinkering with the minutes. But I guess we won't know for sure until this evening. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/coach-tim-miles-isn-t-tweaking-husker-lineup-after-loss/article_7ecabfa4-89bd-5c23-8c7c-3a6f67ea09bb.html Quote
hhcmatt Posted November 19, 2015 Author Report Posted November 19, 2015 It doesn't sound like a line up changing is in the works for tonight. I'm not sure what starting lineup would have won that game on Tuesday. Minutes and lineups that work seem like they'll be the focus for the next couple of games and the lineups will follow. Quote

Might happen eventually, but not any time soon. So, from the sounds of things, expect to see Tai and Benny and Jake still going at it from the opening tip. But there's pressure on them to combine for more than 6 points and less than 13 turnovers ... Quote

Hopefully Miles reminds them of Icarnate Word....alot of new faces on this team but if you don't come to play you can lose on any given night. Hopefully we jump out to a big lead and continue to get some of the youngsters some quality PT. Quote

The problem with them is that they're going to grind us slowly if we're too sloppy. Quote
