Major props go out to former Husker Amy Williams!

 

Head Coach Williams and her South Dakota Coyotes (19-13) punched their ticket to the Big Dance with a 82-71 win over Denver in the Summit League championship. South Dakota beat 3 time defending champion South Dakota St in the semi-finals ending SDSU's 15 game win streak in the conference tournament!

 

South Dakota made the jump to Division I athletics in 2008-09. This is the first time South Dakota has ever made it to the NCAA Tournament!
