It's been a slow couple of weeks in hoops, but with the Conference season right around the corner, it's about to get busy.  Here are a couple of pre-Conference power rankings, one from Purdue SB Nation Blog Hammer and Rails and the other from Indiana's Blog Crimson Quarry:

Wow a B+! Always interesting to hear an outsiders' take. This grading system seems to take a teams starting expectation into account.

Yeah, I got the impression their grade was a reflection of season expectations, and that they felt we were at or slightly beyond where they expected us to be.
