I was pretty young when Pierce was here, as well, but also don't remember him being a standout player when I saw him. But Kansas was pretty stacked.

I kind of felt the same way about James Hardon. He was good but it wasn't like he was dominating. College and NBA games don't always translate.

Very true. I had the privilege of assisting with scouting opponents for a time. The players that got the most attention in practice leading up to games were Durant and Beasley in my time.
