I was a fan of the Fab Five and rooted for them their freshman year.  So naturally when I learned we were going to play them I was really excited.  Unfortunately it was never televised.  There weren't 300 sports channels like there are today. 

 

Even though we lost, I still wanted to see how well we fared against them, so after the season was over I went to the Devaney Center and asked the basketball office for a copy, and they gave me one.  Times were different then I guess.  Can't see that happening now a days. 

 

I thought we hung with them pretty well, even got the lead early in the 2nd half.  Too much talent there though, and I don't know how many offensive boards we gave up, but it was a ton.
