Noah121 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Hope our game is the most compelling (since I'm not in Nebraska or Chattanooga), but even if I can't watch it, maybe that's better since I'll get to listen to Matt & Jeff without distractions! Quote
Row6Seat10 Posted March 23, 2013 Author Report Posted March 23, 2013 E$PN has an excellent article today on Zeros. "I don't know that you can ever control Lindsey Moore," said Purdue assistant coach Christy Smith, herself a standout point guard at Arkansas. "She is just a great player. You try to stop her from doing one thing -- you stop her from shooting the 3, she's going to drive on you. Now you try and stop her drive, she's going to pick you apart and find the open players. She's a very, very good point guard who is able to do it all." Nebraska's Moore expands role Quote

Row6Seat10 Posted March 23, 2013 Author Report Posted March 23, 2013 VALUE THE BALL!! Turnovers are killing us! Quote
Noah121 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 The 9-0 FT differential is keeping us in the game, since Chattanooga is shooting lights out. 27-30 with 3 minutes left in the first. Jordan gets fouled on a shot attempt. Miss, then make. 28-30. Empty possession for Chattanooga... ... and it's now tied at 30-30 to snap a 4-minute Husker FG drought! Quote
Noah121 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 The drive and the basket! Huskers up 32-30 and UTC calls a timeout! Quote
Noah121 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 It's now a new game with 20 minutes of game time! Let's play some DEFENSE and take care of the rock! Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Well TCU has cooled down a bit from behind the arch. And TCU has their bigs on the bench gased so maybe the Huskers can make a move in the 2nd half. Quote
