I heard the sad news today that Dorothy Goa, Jack Moore’s widow passed away suddenly over the weekend. Her & Jack were High School sweethearts in Muncie. I wouldn’t claim to know her well but was lucky enough to spend some time with her the past couple years and found her delightful. She will be missed…

Sad news; thanks for posting it, Handy.    Dorothy was still a Husker hoops fan; saw her at Gate occasionally after games.   Saw Jack and her in college at some of Dorothy's sorority parties.   Of course I glommed on and talked basketball with Jack the whole time.  They were both very tolerant of it.     Life is short and things can change suddenly, my friends.  Two weeks ago Dorothy was with her friends at the Chris Stapleton concert, happy as can be.    She will indeed be missed.

We met her once at Arby's on 48th street when we noted she and Jack were eating there while they were in college. They were young, obviously in love, and very gracious to the strangers interrupting their meal. That is the way I will always remember them. RIP

I remember when I was in Jr High they had a step by step picture series in the Lincoln Journal or Star ( I think separate papers in those days) showing how Jack shot his free throws.  I tried to copy his method and was pretty successful !!  Makes me wonder if I have that clipping somewhere still.

Find it please and pass it on to the team!

RIP Dorothy.
