I am undoubtedly the only person in Nebraska who can say that he saw Eddie play high school ball. He played for tiny Bucklin, Kansas high school against teams my dad coached at Coldwater. Nighthawk Posted May 25, 2020 Report Posted May 25, 2020 His days at Creighton were way before my time as a Husker fan...but my earliest memories of him were as the coach for Arkansas, back in the day when the Huskers used to play them on what seemed like a pretty regular basis.
