That would explain a few things about her play.  Was there any other points of interest as I didn't get to listen.

Some talk about Esther's injury, and how she still has a great attitude and is trying to still lead.   But basically Matt talks a long time, and the answers have a lot of platitudes but not much info.  And one guy called in and wanted to know if we could just do things like volleyball.   In other words, I wouldn't take the time to find the webcast.

Not much info at all other than what whoop and HB said, only had three callers. The first guy called to pump the coach and host up. Charlie called in and wondered why they try to break the press by throwing the ball backwards when bringing it up the court, Marvin called in and was all over the map with his question. Coach W answered him by giving him a run down of head coaches at NU. Also, spent the first twenty minutes talking about the alums coming in to the alumni game this Saturday.

Listened to the show last night.  A caller asked about depth at the forward position, Rachel Blackburn's progress, if Grace Mitchell will stay a forward permanently and mentioned the two 2018 commits.  Coach Williams said that everyone is excited about Rachel's return next year but the biggest challenge is to make sure she doesn't try to do too much too soon.  I got from Coach Williams comments that Rachel is adhering to the pace of her rehab, is the teams biggest cheerleader, studies a lot of film and helps with coaching like planning strategy since she has seen all the competition from last year.  It sounds like Grace will stay at a forward until we have more depth there which will probably will be for another year barring any additional 2017  commits.  When Matt said to Coach Williams I know you can't talk specifically about the 2018 commits but can you summarize what a visit can do for recruiting she said that everyone including opposing coaches are very impressed with the facilities, crowd and general friendliness of all those involved in a visit.  This obviously has a big impact on getting the recruits to commit.  Reading between the lines this probably had a lot to do with Kayla M. committing a bit earlier then expected.

i am really hoping the best for burns! what a huge shot in the arm it would be for her return to the court for the huskers. doubt fans will know too much till practice resumes next fall. i believe i had mentioned before, i am not really sure what type of procedure she had done, just that i thought it was mentioned it is related to "chronic" knee pain? i can only go by what i have read about it------can be a tough situation for an athlete----------which would make sense. fingers (and everything else) crossed! and, yes, pretty good show tuesday night!
