So for you guys that follow this metrics stuff...how many teams are Huskers competing against on the bubble? Bracketmatrix has Nebraska listed as last #10 seed. That puts us ahead of 6 teams for tournament and 8 other teams listed as "other at larges". But 6 of those 8 are listed in 10.2% of brackets or less. Simple math wants to tell me we are vying for field with 8 other teams. If that's the case I like our chances. And maybe 3 or 4 ahead of us. But how many teams can get back on bubble? Can teams like Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Rutgers & Maryland get into bubble conversation?

Was talking to guy in bar after Husker game and we were discussing who we wanted to win in Wisc/Io_a game. He agreed with my assesesment of hoping for said meteor to hit Carver/Hawkeye, minus Chucky.

McPherson was last dry county in Nebraska. The high school football games were played in the afternoon as the field has no lights. The scoreboard operator and pa guy sat in box of pick-up during games.

Not sure where you are seeing the 7th and 8th seed projections? Per Bracketmatrix Huskers aren't listed as #7 seed anywhere, a #8 seed in 5 brackets and #9 seed in 18 brackets. Mostly #10/#11 with being #12 in 5. It updated as I was typing reply. We were in 100 of 101 brackets but now listed in 90 of 92.

Fun to win but whole heckuva lot more fun to put a drubbing on Michigan.

I just read same board. "NU also made lots of tough shots and we missed easy ones." One guy called it "unending slop". "Just about everything that could break Nebraska's way offensively and defensively did and they still couldn't win." "Nebraska was damn lucky and still lost." By reading all these comments if it was a somewhat competent officiated game and we blow them out!

Beilein likes Huskers also. Decourcey not so much.

Anybody else catch Beileins's quote on postgame show. Said NU "was 1 call from winning game". DeCourcey was smiling like yep won that for Illinois.

Another reason I don't take Big 10 teams very far in NCAA tourney bracket. Conference refs aren't available to bail their asses out. Underwood forgot to mention the refs bailed his whiny ass out.
