Always fun to read game thread after wins but big wins like last night it's even better. Can't add anything as it's all pretty much been said. I didn't rush the court but did walk out and got to pat Muhlheisen on the back, get a handshake from a teary eyed Pavelka and give a high five to Hoiberg as he was making his way for postgame radio interview. Went to establishment following game and would've really liked to hear what Big 10 network studio was saying in their postgame analysis.

Have a couple friends who still don't like CJ. And I too was 1 who wasn't a fan of his coming into this season. And looking back my disappointment was the flashes were there, just not the performance. This year he's brought a consistent offensive game along with better effort on defense. Nice to have he and Allick providing punch off the bench. Really enjoyed watching he and Reink sharing their exuberance. Think this team realizes that winning is fun but also know and enjoy when a teammate is "in the zone".

The rotation of Mast, Hoiberg, Wilcher, Lawrence and Rice was not the group I thought would be leading that 2nd half stretch where Huskers took control of the game. And nice father/son moment between Fred and Sam after Sam had turnover and hit his head on floor. Per the other 2 guys with me. After Sam got up and was going to bench he looked at dad and dad said, "Go sit down Sam." They said it wasn't mean but more a frustrated/wtf type of look on Fred's face.

Been waiting for Brooks to do a game to reintroduce myself. Had just parked at horse races at Fonner Park back in spring of 2022. Was grabbing stuff to go in and all of a sudden my drivers side mirror pops and gets knocked forward. Guy stops and is making hand signals but then he pulls forward. I get out to go talk to him as mirror isn't busted. Well lo and behold Brooks rolls down his window to apologize for hitting my mirror. Said he was actually trying to fold his mirrors in and wasn't paying attention. I told him it's fine just a little scratch and not going to holler at him as have done it several times at basketball games over the years and didn't seem to do any good.
