  1. in case you are bored and not doing anything between 7-8pm
  2. https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/30423107/ncaa-women-bracketology-2022-women-college-basketball-projections as of 1-25-2022, they have Nebraska as a #7 seed playing #10 seed Boston College also gave huskers a "trending up" arrow!
  3. btw....Wiscy game is 'Australia Night' isn't it? they gonna serve vegemite snacks at the concessions?!?
  4. just searching for some big ten news. came across this about Maggie Czinano---minny's recruit and sister of iowa's Czinano. really rough start for her... "Early on, she sprained an ankle. And then she developed an eye infection that threatened the sight in her left eye. Nobody is sure how it happened. But a scratch in the eye allowed bacteria in. At first it felt like there was an eyelash in her eye, bothersome, painful."One day I woke up and there was no vision in it,'' she said. "Very scary. Doctors said I was 12 hours away from losing the vision [permanently]. Several doctors visits later I have it back. To this day I have to wear protective eye gear.''And then Maggie had to deal with a long-term, flu-like illness that was never really diagnosed. There were multiple negative COVID-19 tests, negative flu tests.Still not 100%, she only recently returned to practice"
  5. a stretch here to get some of that swagger back...before going to Maryland Wisconsin, Purdue, Rutgers, and Penn St all at PBA. hope to see good crowds!
  6. KM talks about playing vb and track/field: https://www.klkntv.com/superior-native-meyer-now-a-two-sport-athlete-at-nebraska/ “I knew I had wanted to do both kind of originally,” Meyer said. “But then the first season of volleyball just didn’t quite go to plan since we had the spring season. But then all the tables just kind of came together like the time was right that I just decided to join this coming spring.”
  7. like i mentioned above, her ability to get up and down the floor probably had a lot to do with it. however, no doubt tough around the rim.
  8. texted my cousin in minny about her......he stated that he heard she wasn't interested in playing for Stollings when she was at minny. same class as Czinano and Haiby he said.
  9. yep, think if Prince comes in as advertised, the NIL at nebraska could be very kind to her!!!
  10. i see wiscy just beat penn st (by 12?) after a poor outing against michigan.
  11. watched a couple of her games.....she had 30+ points in both. you have to wait for her to get down the floor, but, she is awful good around the basket. wonder if minny tried to recruit her (home state gal)?
  12. if you were watching, had to know Bluder was gonna let Clark play till she got that triple-double again
  13. watched both maryland-osu and minny-iowa. wow, even the announcers were commenting on the "interest" minny showed right from the beginning (or, maybe i should say disinterest) 56 point loss!!! top ten class next year, however........ and, i was actually rooting for maryland (ugh). i think an osu loss may have benefited the huskers more than a maryland loss---in the long run.
  14. i wouldn't go that far.......what, hoopgurlz has her at #9 or 10 (think she might have dropped one spot) chances are pretty darn good any program would make room for her fans are just gonna have to hope the huskers have her interest and the program keeps improving---which i am pretty optimistic about.
  15. i remember last season coach said brady was "day to day"......look how that went
  16. it wouldn't surprise me.......especially with the talent coming in and Caffey announcing a return (if she gets the waiver from the NCAA)
  17. just hope it wouldn't get moved to Rutgers!......if they can even take a home game away.
  18. thanks for the info guys! very much appreciated!
  19. yeah, i missed it too, Red Don. got doing a couple things and forgot about it.
  20. for any bb fans that also follow vb, here's a little news... Meyer to throw Kalynn Meyer will be pulling double duty this spring as she will compete with the NU track and field team, according to a report by the Lincoln Journal Star.
