https://youtube.com/shorts/ryh8j4cbYkI?feature=share pray there is a great shot at her!

i am not sure how many time outs the huskers had left..........but, with what was going on not a time to worry about it!
-
their passing at times just makes you want to throw up. even look near the end of the Indiana game. what the heck went on there for about a minute and a half? lucky they had a big lead. just caught coach talking to matt about how tough it is to win on the road. i'd like to hear her say this is a game we p****d right down our leg. we should have won this game. hold the team more accountable. you can praise PSU for their fight, but, a game huskers should have won. didn't catch the whole interview, maybe coach stated something along that line early in the interview.

very, very disappointing. what a big thud!!!
-
man...................unfortunately, the huskers still play some stoopid ball. wow.

from the Big Ten news release: The Big Ten leads the nation with five teams in the top 25 and 10 in the top 35 of Tuesday’s NCAA attendance report. Iowa is the top Big Ten team at No. 8 (6,806 fans/game), followed by Maryland (11th - 4,965), Nebraska (19th - 4,234) and Indiana (20th - 4,076). Michigan State is 23rd (3,556), with Minnesota at No. 27 (3,215), Purdue at No. 28 (3,207), Ohio State 30th (3,077), Wisconsin at No. 32 (2,955) and Michigan 33rd (2,910). In addition, Monday’s Maryland-Iowa game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena drew a Big Ten season-high 9.820 fans. -
while the huskers are a pretty darn good team.....there are no "gimmies" in front of them. gonna have to fight for every win. one at a time.
-
double checked, it is actually the non-con rating which is one factor that is used.
-
and, just to add, it doesn't help the sos sits at 229, i believe.

https://www.si.com/college/nebraska/basketball/big-ten-freshman-of-the-year-the-case-for-alexis-markowski "The Big Ten Network recently discussed potential FOTY honors. The leader? Shyanne Sellers of Maryland. No offense to Sellers, but at this point in the season, it is Markowski against the field, with the field having plenty of ground to make up."
-
though, this is kinda what i expected out of the rutgers offense
-
and the other rutgers player fouled haiby on the arm going to the rim in the 2nd quarter.
-
ugh. this should be around 40+-18. if I'm coach i would start chewing jazz's butt and tell her to look to score more!!! matts being a gentleman about the score saying this what you get when you play rutgers---it shouldn't be close. especially at PBA.

might be close for awhile......at some point going to need to have a big run and maintain it. you don't want to give Rutgers the feeling near the end they have a shot at their first conference win.

https://www.hawkcentral.com/videos/sports/college/iowa/2022/02/01/iowa-coach-lisa-bluder-breaks-down-hawkeyes-close-loss-ohio-state/9295334002/ "Obviously disappointed in this loss," Iowa coach Lisa Bluder said. "We had a lead in the last four or five minutes and gave it up. Ohio State's a great team and a very physical team. I don't know, it's like you quit calling fouls after a while. "And it gets frustrating because the screens we saw tonight, I didn't think I'd be able to field a team after this game. It was that bad. That many kids were taken to the ground, slammed on screens. I've never seen anything like it before" -

wasn't paying real close attention, but, i thought the announcers stated Indiana hopes to have Holmes back in a couple weeks. i also thought they said she had a minor surgical procedure done in early January? -
i started out hoping iowa would win for the reason an OSU loss would or could benefit the huskers the most. however, as the game moved on, i found myself rooting more and more for OSU. the "clarkgasm" (and it's continuous) by the announcers is getting sick enough---especially the female announcer (can't remember her name, Scott?). then add clark's antics/expressions she is really getting hard to watch. i'll admit, last season i really enjoyed watching clark's game and i put up with some of her complaining/expressions about fouls being called or not called because she is a one-in-a-generation player. it was rather impressive to just watch OSU go about their business and put themselves in a position to win the game at the end.
-
i see the huskers received 8 votes in the latest AP Poll. puts them at 31. just thought i would pass that along. really doesn't matter to me---i just want them to get into the NCAA Tourney!

Allison Weidner will be on Husker Sports Nightly @7:25pm for anyone interested. oh, just to add i think she is only slotted for 15min (which probably won't be that long with the bottom of the hour break)
