MSU OSU PSU Maryland Rutgers Michigan Iowa every now and then, a game comes along and you get that feeling---i don't like that feeling.

i figured her basket would be full. (no pun intended)

hope some lengthy suspensions are at hand. ridiculous.

maybe this topic is in wrong slot, apologies if it is. i noticed, as of this date, prospects nation has iowa #7 for 2016 recruiting http://www.prospectsnation.com/2016-class-rankings-november-17

Wisconsin also wisconsin also shot 7-9 from 3pt range. think they also shot around 44% for the game. also believe huskers had lowest first half output (up to that point, anyway---21pts i believe). huskers will have to have a very good defensive effort. now that huskers have bench available, should help provide a "w". hope the game provides an opportunity for kalenta---just like what i see from her (with the short minutes she has played). for the most part, playing time is earned in practice so have no idea how that has gone for her, but, like i stated before, she seems to bring some valuable minutes.
-
Don't you think Kalenta matches up better with Wisy. than she would have Purdue? I don't think Wisconsin big's are as big as what Purdue brought to the table. possibly. i am a bit surprised kalenta didn't get some minutes. she's listed at 6' 3"---so, i thought she could help out on purdue's bigs. evidently, coach yori doesn't feel comfortable enough with her game to put her in that situation-----yet. she seems to be very active when she is on the floor---hustling, setting screens, etc.

just going by the articles and coach yori's postgame comments, there was no mention of any flare-ups. noticed huskers are allowing 57.4 pts/game. now that coach yori has a bench to play with, wouldn't surprise me if it goes up a tad. might take a bit for the newcomers to adjust now that they are available. on the flip side, maybe offensive production will take a bit of a bounce! i'll take a shot and say, Purdue 61 Huskers 72 think it will be close, but, huskers will add some free throws at the end to stretch it out a bit.
-
should be fun game to be at! imo, not the best Purdue team to show up at PBA, nonetheless, will be a battle. would like to see husker "d" hold Purdue to 60 or less. would put huskers in great position. think it will be a year or two before you see the "old" Purdue---according to espnW they have the #28, #30, and #44 recruits coming in for next year. Purdue will be hungry after suffering a 4 game losing streak---so, hope the leadership keeps harping on that.

The only way Chandler could redshirt is through a medical. Since she played in a game, albeit for only a couple minutes, she "burned" her redshirt. true. should have added "medical" for Smith.
-
listened to matt and connie tuesday night. sounds like the only player they definitely will redshirt is Washington. i thought maybe Smith's name might come up as a possibility, but, coach yori is still planning on getting her back. if i heard coach yori correctly, Smith has only played in one game.

Iowa Purdue OSU Illinois Nebraska Maryland Maryland had their scare (for now).

would love to see the huskers put together a big game and bring that confidence level back up. afraid this one will be another battle as in lansing---but, like the huskers to win by single digits. jmo, but, i thought romero looked a little tentative at msu. hopefully that foot won't cause her problems.
-
i would have to believe if she is still wearing a boot, not a good sign for illinois game---or anytime real soon. i don't think kalenta had the boot on the other night, or did my eyes deceive me? ***after going to the review, kalenta was not wearing a boot. is it pretty much a given that chandler smith will redshirt? if she is willing, at this point, i would give her the redshirt.

imo, tea getting her shot back could very well mean the difference between an ok season and a good season. would be a huge deal to take some pressure off rachel. no secret---if i was an opposing team, right now i do everything to limit rachel (which they seem to be doing).

have to go back to the replay, but, don't think suzy merchant had much too much to gripe about. imo, her players got away with a lot underneath the basket. i saw close to half a dozen times that huskers got mugged underneath. yep, think msu got away with their share.
-
Have ever seen such a weird delivery on a shot?Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk well, rachel's isn't textbook, but, it works for her.
-
watched maryland game on tv. midway to late second half, there was a couple of shots of rachel. i thought she looked tired, not to mention frustrated. i just think it would bode well if she could get her minutes cut down. don't get me wrong---she runs the show, but, i would like to see her in that 30-34 minute range. not to mention good experience for the young'ens. (that is, if they get healthy)
-
i have no doubt that coach yori has regrouped the team after the maryland loss. she will have them ready to play. the question is, will it be enough? i expect a back and forth battle and think it will be a close game. hoping for a little more player depth. if it was a PBA game, my confidence would be much higher for a husker win.

wisconsin rutgers maryland ohio st iowa mich st get the feeling this round is set up for home teams. i'm just afraid the maryland loss will still have some ramifications for the msu game. i would feel much better about it if it was at Pinnacle.
