  1. I suspect as long as it took Matt Davison. As in he is branded for life.
  2. If you haven't, it is basically reverse order at the end of each round. For example, if you have the last pick of the first round, you have the first pick in the second and so on.
  3. Have you never played fantasy sports Norm?!?!
  4. And the saga continues!
  5. Positive: he'd be impossible to move in the paint Negatives: probably not a rim protector at 6'1" and may struggle with rebounding
  6. Tough loss for Illinois. Never liked them much anyways!
  7. As long as he can board and hold his defensive position year 1 I'd be thrilled.
  8. Too bad we couldn't land Barret Benson. Looks like he is the only true 5 in that game.
  9. I would have zero problem with offering Link. At worst we get Jordy. If Link could develop into a part time defender and rebounder it's a bonus. We're at that critical mass point of Miles' tenure IMO where we need to make a move and a decent center is a huge part of that next step.
  10. Has anyone offered Bratton yet? I think he would be at least Summit caliber.
  11. Gosh. It looked like he hardly had to try. It sure would be nice to have a guy like that in the paint.
  12. He was the kid who came along when a bunch of other prospects visited. He said he would commit on the spot if offered. I thought I had heard that the experts felt he was more suited to basketball based on his body type.
  13. Good for Isaiah! I think there are several local kids who could play in the Summit. Glad to see UNO take a shot with him. We all know how difficult it is to get a center around here.
  14. If he could slot into Shavon's spot I'd be thrilled.
  15. Every time I see a new post in this thread I pray that he has grown 7".
  16. I honestly see a lot of similarities with Roby and Porter's game (Rivals #2 in 2017 class). I think we got a heck of a steal here.
  17. Hopefully Horne was peer recruiting the heck out of Porter during their shootout.
  18. Jordy has a 6'11" team mate named Malik Eichler. He's a German import, and being the giant Standhardinger fan that I am, I wouldn't mind us taking a look. Kind of slim pickins at this point looking for big men so why not, especially if it could help us land Jordy.
  19. You had to bring up that Northwestern game. To me that was when we started to spiral a bit.
  20. Your second paragraph covers what not getting out-coached is. A coach can have a good plan, make in game adjustments and still lose because the other team hit a big shot, your players didn't execute or even miss free throws, nor sometimes you lose because of bad luck, like a blown call or a half court shot. When you have a lousy plan, or fail to recognize/adjust to what the other team is doing when they are exploiting your weaknesses, you are getting out coached. Sometimes it is something as simple as not settling your team down when they are rattled by calling time out at a critical point in the game. Sometimes you can coach well, the players play their hearts out and you still lose because the other team is just that good.
  21. Ended up playing for Miles? Wow, small world.
  22. Illinois and Minnesota already have taken kids from Drake the last 4 or so years. We might as well follow suit. Actually, from a couple tiny clips I have seen of him, he looks like he might be pretty good. Appears athletic for a 7 footer.
  23. Is that the Marcus Walker who played here for like a season?
