IMO thats the song we want right after a timeout, skip a little of the intro and boom, place will be rocking. But the music at the PBA to be honest is kind of a buzz kill. Who ever the husker dj thingy or whatever he is called, does not do a very good job at playing songs at the correct times. But the song is sick if its played at the right time.

The sad thing is is that I have a feeling the student section won't be full. People see penn state at the bottom of the league and they see us in the middle. They don't see it as a big game as us die hard students do. They don't understand how big this game is!

I'm just thinking since basketball has been overlooked so much due to football, and we have some stuff going for us now, I think this is the time to make our traditions for basketball. I would just rather do something new or keep "you suck" instead of husker power.

why fix a good thing? does Alabama fix Roll Tide? or does KU fix rock chalk..Husker Power, is a much a great tradition as the tunnel walk, GO BIG RED chants. Plus its simple, easy, and the it breaks even for crowd support people can pick up quick, and it isnt to much of a hassle.Exactly. As part of the TUNNEL WALK!!! This isn't football!!!! We need our own thing, and husker power isn't the thing. The one thing that bugs me the most is when people try to overlap stuff we do for football into basketball stuff. Sure, we can do husker power during some part of the game, but not the introduction.

I would say Doc had the better defense overall. But Miles is starting to get a little closer. And what hurt Doc was that it seemed like every year he had like one big time player, and then a couple of ok players who could do their job and get a few points. But with this team, we have two big time scorers and a lot of people who could go off at any moment.

I'm not a fan of the band. I'm not saying get rid of them, but would like things to change. Examples are change music and don't play when we are on a run and the other team calls a timeout. Biggest buzz kill. I'm also not a fan of the music that the arena plays. The DJ or whoever does the basketball games need to change. They haven't changed the line up once this year. And they haven't played Let Me Clear My Throat, which I think is like our Jump Around song that Wisconsin does. Change timing and get some new songs for the band, I would be fine with it.

I hate the intro! It's nothing to get excited for and you can't clap to it at all and it doesn't get anyone psyched! Sure the fire thing is kind of cool, but pick a better song!! My favorite has been the bleed it out one. But partly because that's one of my favorite songs.
