I read some of that is players don’t want to talk to universities until they have already spoken to their agent.

Two things can both be true. We are missing one player in the rotation and chose to start two walk on's. We had scholarship players we could have started. Arizona State and Georgetown are both depleted. Georgetown is missing four starters. We outplayed both of the teams in front of us and deserved to win both games. The scores could of and probably should have had a wider spread. You can only play the team in front of you. We are having players step up, including a Nebraska kid who is a walk on. If you had told me we would be in a final four in April at the beginning of the season I would have been over the moon. I am happy I get to watch Nebraskaball at least one more time this year.

I am as excited about Cale's performances as the next guy. I think we do need to take into consideration that Arizona State had one big man and he fouled out in playing very few minutes. Georgetown was missing three starters including a post they lost earlier this year that was projected as a one and done. They didn't have a "real" post and the closest they did to that fouled out. Morgan could have set career highs if he had become the primary focus. Boise State will be bigger including one of the Hanson triplets from Slap shot. We will not be able to play with that small line up for very long without getting punished.

I read somewhere that the reason the Crown starts so late is in the future they hope they can line up some teams that have already dropped out of the NCAA tourney to join theirs.

Ya he deserved that - that was not unintentional contact to the groin area. I learned you can’t have a flagrant 1 in groin contact. Rule states if you don’t think it was completely unintentional then goes straight to a flagrant 2. So the only option the refs had were no call at all or goodbye. They made the right call.
