SeatGeek Ticket Sale -- Problem Getting Paid
Dean Smith replied to Swan88's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
They are the only ticket marketplace that I've ever had problems with. They tried to transfer me tickets to the wrong game, taked to different agents multiple times and they all said "don't worry we promise we will get you replacement tickets." This went on till the day of the game and no tickets. Refund took awhile as well. -

50% from three is pretty efficient no matter how many you take. -
I know Fred calls the help side defender the MIG - most important guy - so stops from the help side.

When the camera picked him up on the bench he was always engaged and on his feet, smile on face when good stuff happened. Have to start somewhere. -

That’s sacrilegious. KT can never be replaced regardless of how well anyone else shoots. -
OT Tyson vs. Paul... Who ya got?

No one beats old man time. Any player for UNK or Hastings would beat the crap out of Jordan now that he’s in his 60’s. -

Situational substitution. Injuries and foul trouble got him on the court - next man up attitude. Be ready to do your job when called upon. He can't play the 5 for us and have the team be successful. I think it was the best message coming from Cale. He did his job when called up and I'm betting will not be complaining about not getting those minutes in the second half because it was en entirely different situation. -
Bethune-Cookman (0-1) vs. Nebraska (1-0) Game Thread

I never saw Lawrence go 14 for 15 in warmups. Lawrence was definitely more willing to take that shot and I'm sure he's a better shooter than Uhlis but I'm saying I'm not so sure about Worster. The jury is still out. -

I saw Worster go 14 for 15 from three in warmups. He’s got to shoot. He’s now 2-4 on the year. BC was blitzing pick and rolls but going under for Uhlis always and Worster at times. He has to take that shot. -
Maybe I’ve had a problem, we’ll see. I bought two tickets to a men’s game there and the owner tried to transfer the right seats but to the women’s game in the afternoon on the same date. Customer service told me the game is not immediate so they will deal with it when they have time.

No one brought up the possible knee surgery and maybe it was the alcohol but I have it on good authority that two students approached him at a bar and asked and his response was that he was definitely coming back next year.
-
He had bad feet. He always played in pain and the being explosive on the dunk hurt like hell when he landed so not that many dunks. Incredibly skilled player who had a long and productive pro career. still playing in the top Puerto Rico league today at 34.

Offensively Keisei could do so much more than shoot threes. Standing in the corner waiting for kick outs is the opposite of what Keisei did. I understand your point, but he’s an Admiral now. He deserves the corresponding respect.

I didn't think co-opting UNK and UNO was part of a serious discuss. It would be hilarious if we could swallow that blue team up north of UNL but I don't imagine we could talk the private school into that. I don't know any details so I'm probably showing my ignorance but I wouldn't think it would be too complicated to swallow the med center.
-
They are discussing reorganizing to deal with this problem. It has been floated that UNO and UNK be brought into the UNL umbrella (don't know how that would affect their athletic programs) but from what I've heard just co-opting the UN Medical Center will get the accreditation back.

Slow walking him. Ballo is priority https://x.com/JonRothstein/status/1780300659394302014

Missed a huge opportunity to not have both of them in the Keisei hands on the head pose for the announcement

Frankie Fidler - Transfer -> Mich State
Dean Smith replied to hhcmatt's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I think we have choice now don't we? If you want to send your kid to a private school you can pay the tuition and send away. Now even the small private schools in Nebraska can find a scholarship for someone who can put the ball in the hoop but I don't think anyone wants to close private schools. -
Anyone interested?
