  1. He'd be better off using his degree than going overseas
  2. Very Shawn Marion-esque shot. Looks like a quick release. Now we can have our basketball version of arm punt.
  3. Glue guys can be found at the walk on level, scholarships should be for the ones that can do more than a few minutes a half. It's not football, and there's only so many scholarships.
  4. I wish it were Fuller instead, Bakari had a much higher ceiling.
  5. A favorable comparison, with respect to size and skills, would be with Andrew Drevo. I think Strom would maybe have the edge over where Drevo was in high school regarding footwork and back to the basket skills, and maybe a little better athletically, but its been a long time since I saw Drevo playing for Lincoln Christian so I cant say for sure. Drevo should have been a Division 1 player from the start, I don't know why he wasn't. Drevo could dunk decently, couldn't he? Strom actually struggles. I like Strom, he's right now just a victim of being an in betweener size and athletically.
  6. I am a Bradley fan but no way he would be playing for NE. I know we need shooters but he is just not athletic enough. He was never going to play at UNO. He can not guard anyone and would struggle to get open looks at high D1. He found a good spot and is doing well off the bench for a low level D1 school. If Bradley couldn't defend at a local Y, I don't know how he'd do it in D1. Plus, any d1 coach with proper scouting would understand he is a spot shooter and would defend accordingly. That said, a good shooter for low level D1.
  7. Nebraska has more players that can play the 1-2 than what we have with Fullers playing time. Bakari is better than Hammond and Fuller right now. Heck, Trueblood may be more of a "basketball player" than Fuller. It's not as simple as playing time.
  8. Exactly. Miles will be riding a tightrope the next two years. While there is some intriguing talent in the So/Jr NE high school classes, I don't know if any of these players are the type of talent that will push your program into the B10 1st division. At the same time, there will be plenty of local pressure on Miles to recruit these guys, especially if Creighton is showing interest. As you said, his job is riding on these recruiting outcomes.im a Miles fan, but his job will ride a lot more on in game coaching improvements and player development.
  9. BOOOOO!! The boo is for only 6 wins predicted! modesty
  10. Hammond is not a 4, it would be Jacobson and Morrow.I am thinking there is a back up PG that would be the first to transfer out before Fuller. he is in line for a decent roll next season behind Watson.
  11. it would be a junior, not Senior.
  12. Webster is turning around right behind rivers, you can see 3 red shoes
