We were at least in the same zip code of Purdue. As others have said, an odd year when most important games were road game and we didn't do well with them.

This maybe changing some with the number of kids who transfer each year now. However, when a coach walks into a players home and can tell mom and dad and the kid he will be the coach for the next 4 years the family knows the guy they are committing to will be there. A coach with a 2 year contract is almost like a dead man walking.

Who are the most? Most on here picked a .500 conference season. I know I didn't expect what we got to watch and love this season. I myself was hoping NIT this year and the dance next year.

I can't bet against your gut because I think we are in, well we should be. Odd thing too Cip. After that Buff game I was sitting at the family Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws telling them we had a chance and that I think it was 7 games had to happen in a certain manner, well the rest is history.

Some of Alabama and the rest of the $EC is that for whatever reason this year, their basketball conference was given the same man crush their football conference gets. Guess the Bag men have moved to basketball too.

We all want to make the dance on a regular basis. If you've been watching for 40 years you would see that since Nee got fired, Collier and Sadler pretty much buried the program 6 feet deep. Not like Miles walked into a school with a rich history or a roster that was ready to compete with the big boys.
