We have a decision to make with McVeigh. He's the supposed shooter this team needs. Either start running some more sets for him, despite his cold streak, to try to get him in rhythm or get Roby more time. McVeigh doesn't offer a whole lot more than the ability to shoot right now...so if that's why you play him....then do something to try to accent it.

We're 6-1 with White. Him flaking cost us a tourney bid.

He had a couple nice passes and is a nice option. Clearly Taylor and McVeigh weren't going to be offering much offensive spark. Really don't understand why you can't find him more than one minute. The Fuller experiment makes it even more frustrating

You need more from Roby if you have hopes for anything past the regular season. Giving him 1 minute in the second half isn't enough

Really cant fault the effort. Morrow, Webster and Watson were all terrific. McVeigh doesn't really offer a lot. Need to get Roby more minutes and exposure. Didn't like Turner coming in late.

I think Lewis helps most definitely. But I think personnel is probably the biggest factor. You have a very talented point guard who is playing 30+ minutes a game. You don't have a liability out there in Parker. Your big guys aren't undersized, injured true freshmen or Jake Hammond. Shields was a great player but he had to handle the ball a lot to be successful

Taking emotion and sentiment out of the equation, there is no question that Dayton is a more important game. Completely RPI based. Has a trickle down effect for 3 games, not just 1. Creighton will likely be a top 10 team when we play them. It's a top 10 win, but just one and at home. Dayton gives you a top 30-40 win....but a non home game which is arguably more important. You then get UCLA and either Virginia Tech or A&M. That's 3 straight non home games against at worst top 40 type opponents. You lose to Dayton, you are then playing at best top 100 type opponents, likely far worse the rest of the way

Creighton is a legit top 15, if not top 10 team. Uber talented in the starting 5. They might win 25+ in the regular season with their schedule.

Taylor actually is what Parker was hyped up to be. A good defender and ball handler with limited offensive skill.

No more than 4 losses We aren't winning in Phogg. Clemson will be tough. Creighton will be damn tough. That's 3. Find a way to go 2-1 in Anaheim. Take care of business against the patsies at home
