  1. I like the chemistry between Gates and Lewis, or at least the appearance of. That matters. Impressive hire considering the situation
  2. Never said I blamed Miles. I actually agree with him on passing on him the third time around. I also wasn't the one who randomly brought Agau's name into the conversation either.
  3. Believe Akoy was a 4th year junior last year. And I wasn't comparing careers. I was comparing seasons, which was the OP's question when bringing Agau into it.
  4. Which is quite a bit more than Duby here and on par (slightly more points, slightly fewer rebounds) with Jordy
  5. Depends on expectations. Far more productive than Okeke here and on par with Jordy
  6. You can oversign by one. And I’m guessing Miles has an idea on what might shake out
  7. I don't view Borchardt's scholie as one that should be permanent. And not everyone has come back yet.
  8. Guessing our open scholies have better work ethic and play better defense than Wingett
  9. Assuming Teddy wants to come. And it didn't have to be one or the other.
  10. Disappointing. We have room for open scholarships, random international players and transfers who will sit a year to a play one, maybe two but not a top notch scorer from our home state
  11. He did need another year. Then again, not sure that open scholie and/or Thor was worth the backlash and not having him
  12. In hindsight, should’ve just kept him
  13. Interesting that 3 of the 4 are upgrades from his previous school
  14. He'll fit right in!
  15. If he can qualify, we will regret not offering
  16. X is a difference maker. No question he's your choice.
  17. Abd the grad big would likely use Copeland’s.
  18. Between Tanner, Nana, Copeland and Jordy, wouldn’t surprise me if more than one go.
  19. Get Caffaro and X back in and go after a grad transfer big.
  20. Nice pickup. Timing is right when Glynn and hopefully Palmer move on.
  21. While I understand the stance and general premise, I disagree at this point in time. The single biggest thing Nebraska can do right now is win. And after year 6, while still on the hot seat, an nba draft pick isn’t going to carry a lot of weight IMO. And we need those guys to win. If this was year 2 or 3, I might think otherwise. But there’s no time left to do anything but win
  22. Virtually every major conference basketball team has at least 1-2 clunkers (300+ level RPI teams) on their schedule. What we need to do is to make sure we have plenty of Top 100 games and win our fair share of them and avoid having an obscene amount of clunkers. Beating Deleware State didn't hurt us as much as losing to Kansas, Creighton, St. John's and UCF did.
