We won this game without having a very good offensive output. We also turned the ball over more often than "normal." But I will also credit Rutgers for playing some nasty a** defense. We really played seven players. JLaw did hit a nice 3; but otherwise had a below average game. Rienk and CJ sort of struggled as well. Keisei struggled, until he didn't. Goodness, he went off like a stick of dynamite for about 3 minutes. I thought Brice had a quiet, yet good game. Juwan, Sam and Josiah were downright junk yard dawgs.

Oh man, that was fun. Went to a basketball game and a rock fight occurred. We had the bigger stones tonight! We established ourselves in the first five minutes and then maintained it the entire game. Crowd was fantastic...again. I will re-watch the game and see what we sounded like. For those at the game, did you see the one ref's reaction at the half to the fans boos. What a classless act! This was, once again, a team win. And if I may add, I'm still waiting for us to play a full forty minutes of a game at our highest level.

Mr. Tominga was at one of the State Tournament sessions this week.

We also have an exceptional Australian connection. We likely would not hear much, if anything, about a player from down under, until the deal is finalized.

Interesting tournament. Some good players in A & B. Watching South Sioux City get mercy-ruled @ state tells a story though. Quite the disparity between the top four or five teams in class B and everyone else. I remember the glory years of the Kelly Flynn coached SSC teams and lordy, what a vast difference.

The officiating was despicable. That said, if we defend better, if we shoot better, if we rebound better, if we take care of the ball better, we win this game going away. Keisei is hitting on about five of eight cylinders. Reink was missing in action as was Juwan, Brice and CJ for large portions of the game. And once again we lose on the road. Cripes, I am still waiting on us to play a full 40 minute game Especially on the road. I was hoping we were beyond that inane inconsistancy. So yeah, it's just one game and yeah, we can overcome this; but dang, if we truly want to get to the dance and win at the dance, these games simply cannot happen.
