NWU compiled 85 wins, made three NCAA III Tournament appearances and won two NIAC titles during Kissinger’s run in a NWU uniform. He guided the Plainsmen to the 1997 NCAA III National Championship game, and led the No. 1 ranked NWU team to 23 straight wins to start his senior season. The four-year letterwinner from Sandy Creek H.S. started every season in the NWU backcourt. He was a prolific shooter who still holds the NWU school record with 294 made 3-pointers in his career. Kissinger was a three-time First-Team All-NIAC performer and a two-time NCAA Division III All-West Region selection. Kissinger finished his career with 1,709 career points, which still ranks third in NWU history. He was also a standout in the classroom where he was a three-time GTE Academic All-American, making him the only NWU basketball player to earn Academic All-America honors three times.
  14. We did not really play well, yet only down by 3.
  15. One of the refs is from central Nebraska
  16. We are not closing the half worth a crap. Coaches have to find shots for Tominaga for gosh sake
  17. Yeah, everything seems a half-step off
  18. We are struggling with defense. They are moving the ball and we're not keeping up. We will see what happens when Reink comes out.
  19. Gary dinged his shoulder again, but ten gets a gimme...go figure. Hot from 3.
  20. Wow...no doubter, I will be watching the basketball game.
  21. Wow 20+ point win against #6 rated team. We seemingly acted as a wake up call.
  22. Haven't read or heard if Josiah can play... Us 73 Them 78
