  1. From LJS: Markowski did have to head to the locker room early after being ejected with two minutes left in the game. While pumping her fist to celebrate basket inside the paint, Markowski accidentally made contact with a Purdue player and received a technical foul.
  2. Good won. Always tough on the road...but.
  3. My concern was he has had ball handling issues in the past. He seemed to have improved his handles; but then issues arose again two games ago. The issue seems to coincide with hesitancy in pulling the trigger on his 3's.
  4. I am back to cringing every time CJ decides to dribble.
  5. Very workman like and nice win. As others said, it was a rock fight at times; but we won that fight. We made good adjustments and ultimately took care of business as necessary. I blame it on the fans who lulled to sleep by the major baby insurgency in the arena. Cute yes...lot's of oohs and ahhs...but not conducive to a loud and boisterous crowd. By the way, I also liked the refereeing today
  6. Note the body armor he wears. He must "attract" those inside pitches.
  7. Agree. She will have to make adjustments in her game; but most of her abilities will easily transfer to the college level.
  8. I say this very sheepishly...there seems to be a...little...racial tension when it comes to Clark. I have no clue why; but, it seems sort of stanky at times.
  9. 1-0 baby!!! Only half the teams can say that. Pitching is typically ahead of the offense early each year. That said, the bats cannot wait too long.
  10. I fully anticipate a 3-0 weekend. Why the heck not? We should expect to win, until we don't. I am a bit more optimistic because we have had decent weather for preparation. It's when we have crappy weather that the southern teams get the major advantage.
  11. That was one of the reasons Oleg left, he was still a project. My take referenced the need for Diop to be a rotational player next year. If he is still a project, we will be hurting unless we opt for another transfer big. That leaves room for a project. Of course, much of this is predicated on all of our eligible players returning.
  12. I assume the #1 baby names in Iowa are now Caitlin (girl) and Clark (boy).
  13. If Diop is still a "project" next year, we will be in trouble.
  14. I don't necessarily disagree. But life is rarely perfect. There was a lot of fuel burned in the Iowa game. There is physical, emotional and mental fatigue. Yeah, there are elite teams capable of simply showing up and winning; but that next tier of teams all struggle following those high energy games. Not making excuses for our dismal performance...ehh, maybe I am.
  15. Just saying... https://journalstar.com/steady-growth-for-anderson/article_df260882-f766-51f6-a109-ef5a9359676d.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=email&utm_campaign=user-share
  16. Chalk that one up to hangover from Iowa game.
  17. Prayers are with the victims. Heard the crowd helped take down the shooters. Tragic! Stupidity!
  18. Man, Ted Carter works fast.
