Somebody try to convince me that URI is better than us.

I think if the NIT becomes our place, we are in for a short stay. Miles has been obsessed with getting us in. The team will be extremely disappointed. The fans will be extremely disappointed. We had a week and a half lay-off. The only things going for us are we should be at home (unless Luinardi, Palm, and Mandel are on the NIT committee), and we should be much more talented than our opponent.

Here's what is annoying me this year. The bubble teams all have something Nebraska doesn't. Q1 wins. I just looked at Rhode Island, for instance. They say they are solidly in. Road/neutral record URI (for an at large bid) 10 - 6 Nebraska 6 - 9 Q1 wins URI 2 Nebraska 1 Q1 road games that would be Q1 home games URI 0 - 2 (rematch against St Bon at home gave 1 Q1 win) Nebraska 0 - 3 (no rematches at home for other Q1 wins)

Luinardi was the first one to "guess" what the committee was thinking. He was able to guess most, if not all, teams in the tournament. What people don't realize is that most people could put 32 teams in the tournament. That means guessing 4 teams would get you in.

I'm going to say OSU has no chance. They aren't even a Q1 team home, away, or neutral. If you beat them you get no Q1 win.

My only ? is how the hell do reporters care enough to go on a conference call with this moron. Their SOR is in the top 40 which says it's not just the Big 10 name carrying Nebraska love. This from a guy who has no clue about basketball.

Maybe we are one of the 28 teams!! ?

Not the part about being a 3, 4, or 5 seed. If you look at most NCAA brackets, we are not the 1st four out, or 2nd 4 out. That makes us a 3 seed at the highest.

I was joking earlier when I wondered if we would make the NIT. I am really not joking when I wonder how many home games we will get? I'm starting to think 0 or 1 is a very good possibility. We have a chance to be a 3, 4, or 5 seed. Before, I thought for sure, a 2 seed was the lowest we would go. That would be just the cherry on top of one of the most disappointing (not making the NCAA tournament), yet exciting seasons (school record for conference wins) in Nebrasketball history.

If you fire him, who in their right mind, is going to come here? You set the school record for conference wins in a season and it gets you a pink slip? That sets the program back years. Doc and Collier were regarded as a good X's and O's coach. Who was not regarded as an X's and O's coach? The most successful coach in school history, Nee. Miles gets the Jimmy's and Joe's.

I am proud of all the players, who play Michigan. They do a great job of showing self restraint. I want to punch him in the face!!

This is going to be a long year, I'm afraid.

Michigan Purdue final. PSU is a quad 2 win, now, and will be regardless of a loss to Purdue. Can't have them stealing a bid.

I hope Wagner comes back next year, and we find an OT to come in and make sure he takes out Wagner. My hatred for Wagner surpasses my hatred for Luka Garza.

HWhy don't you have an hour break in between games? The 1st game starts at 11, usually lasts 2 hours, gets over at 1. Why not start the 2nd game at 2. Then, start the night games at 5:30 and 8:30. I know that last game might be a little late, especially in EST.

The Div 2 game does not count as a win or loss, like it wasn't even played. It's one of the many flaws in the RPI.

How are we lock for the NIT. We haven't beaten anyone away from home that will be in the tournament. Plus, we have only 3 wins against NIT worthy competition. I think Palm and Luinardi are onto something. Thank god, they don't do an NIT bracket. We would be on the outside looking in on that, too.

I will say Oklahoma is a team that has no business being in the tournament. 4 - 10 down the stretch, including a 23 point loss to another bubble team. A 30 point loss to a top 2 seed. OU beat them by 5 earlier in the year. We lost to a top 4 seed by 19, but beat them by 20 earlier in the year. Road records OU 2 - 9 NU 4 - 7 Neutral OU 3 - 1 NU 2 - 2

I stand corrected. I don't remember that at all. Trying to vent knowing how good this team is, and how much they deserve to be in.

I am going to go crazy if PSU gets in over Nebraska.

Kentucky was, but they also didn't win 13 games in the SEC that year, maybe 7 seed was a little high.

For this year, change our name to Indiana or Maryland, we would be in the tournament.

NHere's three things that will piss me off next Sunday. Our name on the front of the jerseys, will keep us out. Put our resume with a Maryland name in our place we are a 7 seed. Schedule WSC instead of Deleware State, we are a 10 seed. Hit a shot against KU, we are a 10 seed.
