  1. Haha. I guess I see recruiting as being so dirty that I immediately went the other way with it.
  2. Are we gonna he dabbling in the grayest of areas in the eyes of the NCAA?
  3. I can’t recall where I read/heard (maybe Gaskins interviewing Gary Sharp), but supposedly Hoiberg has already reached out to potential recruits.
  4. Couldn’t Hoiberg do all of those things without an official announcement, basically telling everyone that “I’m the coach but we’re keeping it quiet until my son is done.”
  5. Samesies. I hope he gets to win in the tournament too.
  6. A few short years ago many of us were nervous he’d move on to a bigger program. Coaching is fickle. His tenure here was awesome and many times frustrating, but I can’t help it, I like him a lot. I’ll miss him. Until the the moment we nab Hoiberg. Then I’ll mostly be happy he made it possible.
  7. Do all the fallen dominos lead to us hiring Hoiberg still?
  8. My post was more about the expectation that we should be a top 32 program. As Royal said, there are about 50 program with that expectation, maybe more.
  9. How many programs can expect to do that? I’m sure there are 50 fan bases that would say the same.
  10. While we await the guillotine, I maintain Miles absolutely was the right coach at the time. It didn’t work out as well as it appeared it would, but I wouldn’t call the hire a failure. He was a couple of bad breaks away from three tournament appearances. He helped formulate a plan to make the Vault a true home court advantage with the placement of the student section. Maybe Miles doesn’t deserve a ton of credit for fan support to many, but he gets it from a marketing aspect. I think he helped turn the program into one good enough to attract the attention of Hoiberg, who can be picky about his next job. Instead of piling more dirt on Miles, I choose to be thankful for his contribution to elevating the program.
  11. I have so much respect for that group. It would have been easy for every player and every coach to pack it in, but they battled and scrapped despite everything. It will be remembered as a disappointing season that cost Miles his job, but they have a lot to be proud of.
  12. The refs clearly missed the TCU player smash into Roby with his shoulder and then push him in the face. Then he flopped when Roby pushed him off. What a turd.
  13. I have no way of knowing how good his source is or how correct his source is, just going to bat for a rock solid reporter. He has legit sources through the Big 12 footprint.
  14. I know Randy pretty well, and he is a helluva reporter. He’s far from a nobody.
  15. I would give Moos all the credit in the world for getting Hoiberg here. How could anyone not?
  16. Thor needs to not dribble drive for a layup. It’s painful.
  17. I’m not sure why I’m even annoyed by this loss. Was completely expected with Copeland out. I guess I’m just sick of the same old nonsense. Absolutely silly fouls, killer offensive rebounds because we fail to box out, terrible offensive sets/shots, zero depth, scoreless droughts, etc.
  18. Sweet out of timeout set.
  19. The rest of this season is gonna suck so bad. So much promise and all it will lead to is a coaching search.
  20. I can live with some bad shots, but there aren’t many worse than a step back long 2 over a significantly taller and slower player.
