While it would be awesome to be drafted if you are AW, I dont know if i would want to be drafted by a team with 8 picks... The odds of making that team are slim if you are a second rounder.I would assume Boston will trade some of those picks. And/or drafts a bunch of guys to stash in Europe.

Late to the party, but I'm so pumped to have a real center on the roster. My expectations are low for year 1 just because it's a huge transition for a big man, but I really like his future. I'd be happy with 10-15 minutes a game while playing solid post D and rebounding. And of course sprinkling in a few new post moves and soft hands.

That was my thought... Just because he's taking a visit there this weekend doesn't automatically make them the school to beat now. My bad. I thought the post I was quoting was being more sarcastic. I don't think we should be that worried about UNLV.

Great article. I really do think this will turn out to be a situation like roby and Arop is gonna blow up. His injury did not help him at all in regards to recruiting ranking...I feel pretty good about saying he is at the very least worthy of a top 150 ranking. IIRC, Peter Jok was highly regarded, then injured his patellar tendon and lost some luster. Turned out great for him and the Hawkeyes.

Just wanted to say how happy I am for Tai. His offense has come along now that he's loving the rim. Seems like the extra confidence is helping beyond the arc too. His defense, as always, is very good.

These refs suck. Bad.

We're nowhere near as good as Iowa, but watching missed FTs, missed layups and missed jumpers combined with pitiful reffing is so damn frustrating. Just gotta keep telling myself that things won't aways be this way. There's too much talent here and in the pipeline.

Yup. We rarely got the 50-50 call, which is silly. We played awfully well, but we couldn't get to the line enough and we might not have gotten a single great shot attempt out of our halfcourt offense in OT. Shields ran out of gas and we didn't have anyone out there capable of getting their own shot.
