  1. Miles the energy vampire!
  2. I really thought we turned a corner, especially with how hard we played at Maryland. I'm OK with losses, they happen. I'm a firm believer in cheering or criticizing the effort, not the result. Both were beyond awful today.
  3. I get it. It's a philosophical difference. I don't think D-1 athletes are above criticism. Others here do.
  4. +1,000,000. Although I'd much prefer to read whining about the refs over ripping on players. One has to wonder if the people that rip the players have had kids play sports. Or have played any sports? Yes, I have played sports. No one ever would have ripped me for my effort. Now my shooting...
  5. Really excited about Tarin's development.
  6. I feel bad for the team that have to put up with crap comments like this. Its comments like these that are crap... they really are. I can deal with your negativity, but this comment is absolute crap. They pay money because they want to be there to watch or cheer on the team. If they don't want to be there, don't go. You don't want to be a fan, don't go. Give me an emptier arena full of real fans over a full arena full of negative neds any day. I doubt they paid money to cheer for this effort. Sorry if it isn't puppy dogs and ice cream. This team deserves to be booed today. No never Boo these kids, don't care how bad it is. First non Creighton fan to get a down vote because I wanted to give it them. I down vote our effort today, so there!

What's wrong with that?

  9. Yeah, at least I can change the channel for free.
  10. Ha. And so could Benny! Or anyone else! But in all seriousness, I hope he becomes a knock down shooter, but he hasn't shown that to this point.
  11. Unfortunately, I don't think he's a "problem" for other teams.
  12. I hope you're wrong. Obviously we haven't seen much from him, but I like his movement skills for a big. We really need 15 minutes a game out of him next year.
  13. Last year, it seemed like he was automatic from 15 feet. What happened? Or maybe I'm not remembering correctly.
  14. Someone would have to transfer out for that to happen, correct? I thought Tai or Fuller would have been a candidate earlier in the year, but I'm not so sure now. Hammond would make sense, but I don't want to lose him. If he adds some weight/muscle, I think we'll have a good player on our hands.
  15. Looking forward, I don't think we're going to learn anything more about Petteway and Shields for THIS year, but I think we can learn more about Tarin Smith and Nick Fuller, particularly Fuller. We need to see if last night is something he's capable of doing consistently or if he simply had the right matchup. At the very least, he seems to have a nose for the basketball and a knack for getting open without the ball. Those two things were incredibly valuable last night. If he finds his 3-point stroke, we'll really be onto something.
  16. We have to take advantage of defenses not being set because we struggle so much in the half court.
  17. I like how the offense looked tonight. Aggressive early offense, nice set plays and made 3-pointers. Too bad Trimble played like the NBA player he is.
  18. Fuller was great tonight, but I don't blame Miles for picking his spots. Tonight was a good matchup with Fuller able to defend a spot up shooter and a guy who isn't particularly good on the block. Hopefully Fuller keeps playing like this so he can force Miles' hand. Tonight is the first time in a long time that I was excited about Fuller's prospects.
