You know, I think I sat near this guy last night - whined while Parker was in the game and wasn't scoring, paid no attention to what he did on the defensive end, and then left with 5 min to go ... just as Parker's defense was completely taking Rice out of the game. Did he sit for most of the game and tell people to sit down? Because I believe Stiltz has said he does this at games. I could be wrong though.

The bad play before the half was not good from the start. We bring in a player who hasn't played at all in the half. He takes the ball out and we have 1 player going against their 3. It was a mess that could only come out bad. However we handled the next inbounds wonderfully and got a lay up to finish the half. It was fun to see Rey fake the three and drive. Igloo thought he was going to block that shot into the upper deck.

Okay, last night was an example of how the game was to be called in the beginning of the year, then we got away from it and now it is back. Well at least on our end of the court. The way I see it, the off ball defender will never get a charge call,this year. So might as well try to block the shot instead. Also how many step is it now to the rim for a lay up, and can you really switch pivot feet if you don't go anywhere and haven't taken your first dribble?

We are getting better, win and play hard and the crowd will get better. We are some what new at this too.

Another big like Darien Williams? I'd tend to prefer HS over juco just because jucos are only here for two years and then gone and seems like just when they're really finding their game, they're gone. But jucos also bring some maturity and physical development to teams that might otherwise be young, so there's a give and take. Finding a juco who still has 3 years of eligibility is kind of a good middle ground, AFAIC. Therefore, I'd love to get Dickerson. And if there was any way we could also get Williams to graduate by the end of summer and get him eligible, I'd love to have him as well, based on the numbers he's putting up as a true freshman at least. I dont care who the big is for the 2015 class but I put it as unnamed because I want to see who they get in this cycle to determine who I would like to take. I do think Miles is finding out how hard it is to generate interest with high level HS kids and is going to the Schnapps a lot than he probably figured he would have to (referencing his initial press conference to jucos, and international players). Well it has been pretty cold around and the ice snakes might have been out so Schnapps is perfectly called for.
