Saying this now, because the result is irrelevant for this comment. This is awesome! When I look at other teams who consistently make the Big Dance, you see those players in the regular season and every time they touch the ball you think that shot is going in. We're starting to see that with this team. Haven't been too many of those over the last few decades.

If Doc, Miles, or Hoiberg's teams consistently shot as confident on the road as this team is right now, we'd have some much better teams who could show up in late March.

We were 11-14 last season before we went on a tear and ruined other teams' seasons. I would expect nothing less from other teams in late February/early March.

Japan's time zone is 15 hours ahead of CT. So 1 of 2 things happened: 1. He either celebrated taking shots....just the ones that are not with a basketball, or 2. He shot lights out earlier in the day on his birthday but when tipoff happened it was already the next day in Japan These are clearly the only two possibilities.
