Awesome Keisei. Well done on a good career in the scarlet and cream. -

Clark is starting to dish it off to open teammates behind the arc. Taking a risk that they start to get hot behind the arc. I'm just waiting for that shift where we start to guard those other players more and then Clark starts to get those open looks. -

Just wanted to put a big shout out in this thread for the women's team. They're playing in the Big Ten championship game at the same time this game is going on. Split screen, two TVs, radio and TV. Whatever your solution, they're leading the way. Hoping our men's team can make a run like that this upcoming week. -
They certainly won't court storm us out of the gym. That part is certain.

I'm too lazy to do it right now. But I'm curious how many midwest schools have been slotted in west coast regional sites. If the odds are low(er), then that reduces our potential landing spots by 25%. But if it's common enough to be equal probably to any other site for a 7+ seed, then we can't really rule them out.

Initial instinct is that those are two completely unrelated events. But after thinking about it more deeply... You almost burned down your house. Michigan football plays at the Big House. The Big House is located right next to the Crisler Center. The Michigan basketball team is a dumpster fire. So they were already on fire. So either your metaphor for burning down the house was us further burning down the Michigan basketball program. Or you were just listening to a Talking Heads song while cooking tonight. -

Fun fact: Wild wolverines haven't been spotted in the state of Michigan for decades. However, there's been wolverines spotted in Oregon. Probably why they joined the Big Ten, so they can show them what a real wolverine looks like. -
She has scored 1,000 in conference play? Reading comprehension is hard.

Going to need to play like we're facing Ohio State tomorrow. Can't sleep on Maryland.

2013-14: 15-1 (8-1) 2014-15: 10-6 (5-4) 2015-16: 10-8 (3-6) 2016-17: 8-8 (4-6) 2017-18: 16-1 (9-0) 2018-19: 13-5 (5-5) 2019-20: 6-11 (2-8) 2020-21: 6-9 (2-7) 2021-22: 7-12 (1-9) 2022-23: 11-4 (6-4) 2023-24: 18-1 (10-0) Total PBA Home Record: 120-66 (55-50) 65% total home games 52% conference games
-
Pretty eye opening to think that Caitlin Clark would account for 68% of those points this season. * 42% for conference points (not including her final B1G conference game and BTT game)
-
It looks like we'll have a chance to do something about that tomorrow.
-
30-5 in the last two seasons at home and they want to risk a good thing? After all this talk of having an advantage of a good home court?
-
I believe Iowa would have to beat Illinois for this to happen.
-
Probably a 5 if we lose. But possible to drop to 6. Essentially need Michigan State, Iowa, and Wisconsin to all lose if we lose to Michigan and still want to have a double bye.
-
Good enough for the committee to give them a first round bye in the NCAA tournament.

The B1G needs some terrible teams!

The collective Big 12 nonconference strategy seems to be much more effective than diluting the conference itself. Seems to be working very well for them this season.
