I don't know if you heard when you have been out, but Copeland got traded to the NBA, Nebraska got a phone call from the NCAA who said that we got an automatic Sweet 16 spot, and Moos has become a billionaire selling NyQuil chasers. All is right in the state of Nebraska athletics.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. Blatt was winning 3 of every 4 games until he got fired (30-11) running the front of the pack in the NBA. Lue took over and went 66% (27-14) to finish it the season. Blatt was fired for political reasons, but that doesn't mean either of the two were a better coach. What has been consistent between the staff changes is the team.

If this was any other year, we're already out of the tournament. But the reason we were left out of the tournament last year is the reason why we're technically still in it this year. Two-thirds of the conference are likely to make the tournament and the race for those final spots are still up in the air.

I don't think Miles intended the roster strategy to go the way it has with the transfer market when he first came here. It seems like he got to a point in his tenure where it was about trying to bridge the gaps and slap a temporary bandaid on it to get him through to the next year. It wasn't until this season where we felt like we had a complete starting roster, but we were also left very thin. He lucked out the last couple of seasons by not having any major injuries, until now. But I will give him some credit; he had done really well in the transfer market. Unfortunately, he hasn't able to compliment that with some more stable recruits to provide us more consistency and depth.

Yeah I'm not arguing that. And we've seen some successes in coaches similar to this situation with the likes of Bruce Weber and Frank Martin at times. But if the only options are those two or hope that Miles turns this thing around, then Moos hasn't done his homework. (Unless I was misinterpreting your "Beyond those two, yikes" statement. That's all I meant.
