Favorite Game: Sure, it might be an easy answer, but it's one that hadn't been done in 40 years. That's something special. Whether on Peacock or not.
Best specific moment: Probably that race in the final days of the conference season to secure a 3 seed in the Big Ten. There was still a lot of movement with Northwestern and Wisconsin in the final days to secure our spot in a double bye.
When did you realize this team could be legit: Probably when we started stacking wins on Michigan State, Kansas State, and Indiana.
What did you like about the team: We haven't had a team in awhile where you could feel confident that any player on the court could make a shot. This felt like a team who could challenge an opponent anywhere on the court.
Favorite player: For what it represents? Sam Hoiberg. Give me anyone who's scrappy who's willing to lose some skin on the court to save a possession for the team.
Most important player: Keisei. Hands down. Whether you believed in the hype or not, this is the face of what got Nebrasketball some attention again.
Best memory: Coach Hoiberg getting the National Coach of the Year award. Wow. That was special.
Most frustrating game: Some people will say Creighton. Sure, that was embarrassing. Absolutely. But I honestly don't care. That's 3% of our season and has little impact to the outcome of ours (or Creighton's season). The Texas A&M game was the most frustrating. Typical, in Nebrasketball fashion. A&M doesn't shoot the three ball, but then plays us and shoots lights out. High expectations for us and flopped in the moment. Add Trev on top of that and it was just one frustrating outcome to such a memorable season.
