  1. I don't think anyone would criticize that line of thinking. At least not on here. I still want to be in the building when NU wins their first tourney game...
  2. So, uh, Big Ten teams are doing what Big Ten teams did before Big Ten play. Is it possible that the Big Ten is better than we thought?
  3. Possible. But it calls him a star, which would mean he'd have won a letter at some point, he doesn't show up on any letterman lists, someone didn't fact check.
  4. That's probably a big reason why they keep teams as close to home as possible, especially the top ones. Also, the tourney is a little bit like the NFL in this way that it's better on tv than it is in person in most cases.
  5. Coach Miles certainly thinks you can improve on it.
  6. A quick look at all letter winners at NU, I don't see him listed anywhere.
  7. According to the media guide, there have been no players with the last name of Cato that have lettered in basketball at NU. He didn't play at UNK either. Couldn't find an all-letterwinners list for UNO.
  8. West is killing everybody.
  9. Michigan's on the semester system. They're mid semester right now. There's not anything for him to enroll into right now.
  10. Well crap... If you don't mind me asking when did you order them? I ordered mine on February 11th and haven't heard anything. Donated $100/seat. I'm screwed I bet! Are you a current season ticket holder? No sir... haven't been able to be my son just turned 5 and the wife finally gave me the ok this year Then you won't hear anything until after they have collected all the deposits from current ticket holders. You'll get in, don't worry. You'll probably even get a very good seat unless you're holding out for courtside.

  12. It may not have been up to him. It's likely his editors suggested he do something on it.
  13. I think it speaks more to Doc being a pro and delivering a consistent message. I could see that answer being given for four or five different questions...or just Doc being Doc and following a rabbit trail in the conversation.
  14. The wait list isn't because seats are available, it's so they can accomodate current season ticket holders first. Everyone that is on the wait list will get seats, at least for hoops once they get all the invoicing taken care of for the current STHs. Those went out a couple of weeks ago. I get what you're saying, but there are far easier and more transparent ways to handle all this whole process. They could've been done with all of this stuff last summer. Transparent, yes, but as a season ticket holder, I appreciate the order in which they've done things. Speaking only for myself, they've been very accommodating Also, I think the process is a bit more complicated than most of us realize.
  15. For donations. They'll invoice for tickets later once they know the schedule. Probably early fall.

  19. Formally, yes, but it's possible, like in the Big 12, they could schedule who you play home and home games with based on divisional alignment, as well.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if she sells the place out. It's interesting because it's also the day of the Michigan football game. It's a road game of course, but if that happens to be a night game and they go head to head, I'll be curious to see how well attended the concert is. I don't know how much cross over there is between those two groups of fans. Teenage girls don't care much for Nebraska football...at least not in comparison with pop music. I think her audience is broader than that and in this state and town, Husker fandom touches all demographics Are there enough parents that will take their daughters downtown for a concert during what's likely to be a top 15 matchup and has Gameday tour stop written all over it? I just think it's interesting they picked that day to have that concert.

  22. It's not the opener. There will be two concerts before that one.
