  1. How in the world do you wind up with 6 men on the floor in a college game?
  2. They also played 11 guys in the first half. Not sure on how many minutes but four of those six off the bench contributed some rebounding and a few points.
  3. My google skills are pretty strong and I'm not seeing anything. I'm guessing that info would be behind his subscription paywall since that's where the predictions and analysis hide. - http://kenpom.com/register.php?frompage=1
  4. BTDN is $14.99/month. I thought about signing up for November but decided I'd rather just go old-school and listen to Kent.
  5. LSU wound up with 29 fouls, 18 were in the first half. UMass finished with 25. I don't recall their first half total but it was at least 13.
  6. Mistake by LSU leaving O'Bryant in with two fouls and a minute left in the half.
  7. I did a #DunkCity search after the game and was amused by a few Creighton fans either being disappointed in FGCU's not winning or downplaying them as a low major missing their best players.
  8. That was a lot of fun to watch. I was optimistically expecting a win but not this way. I finally gave in to the wife when we were up 70-40 to finish the end of the Oregon-GT game paused on the other tuner. Switched back once Oregon finished so I could see the finish and hear Coach Miles' post-game BTN interview. It is so obvious how hard these guys worked in the offseason. They were really having fun playing team basketball. Benny won't get as many minutes as he did last year but if he plays like he did tonight he will provide a valuable spark off the bench. Liked what I saw from Smith inside. Wish I would have seen what Walt can do around the rim. I'm sure that will happen soon, though. Shavon is amazing. Love how confident he looks and it's great that he will be going to the line a lot this season. Tai just looked so smooth, like everything he did was effortless. One bad cross court pass on a drive to the bucket but other than that, I was very impressed.
  9. NU 73 FGCU 70 I think I won this contest in its inaugural year.
  10. He's been blowing up my twitter timeline all night, still at 1:48 AM central time. Kid can't wait to make his announcement.
  11. When someone asked his reply was one word: "college."
  12. It's funny. Most Oregon fans I know are like Husker fans in that they don't really care if the basketball team exists (and they do have the Blazers) and once the football team loses a game they mostly disappear. The one guy I know here in Eugene who does care about Duck hoops hated Altman as he didn't think Ernie Kent should have been fired but he's slowly coming around. I'm actually more optimistic about the Ducks than he is. Another reason I'll take a Creighton win is that Duck fans won't get in my face if they win. They'll mostly be surprised. Funny story. I moved out here about two weeks before Dana Altman. About a week after he got here my girlfriend and I were sitting in a local brewpub eating lunch when Altman and a couple university officials come in and walk right towards me. I stand up and say, "Hi, Coach Altman." One of the officials lights up and says, "Hey, you're already being recognized here." I tried to hold back but couldn't help it. I said, "I just moved here from Nebraska three weeks ago," as I shook his hand. The looks on their faces were priceless.
  13. Such a decision. I love, love, love beating Creighton but I'm going to be at the Oregon game and I think a win on the road at the PAP will look good in March as the Ducks are starting to look pretty solid in an otherwise (except for Arizona) ho hum conference. However, I'm getting way ahead of things thinking of Selection Sunday with this team considering the B1G schedule looks pretty daunting. I'll take Creighton.
  14. Only if the wind is blowing from the west.
