Pike still holds the all-time record for games played by a Clipper which is somewhat reflective of how bad a franchise that had been for most of its existence

Holtmann the person was fairly well liked at OSU

Possible that Ohio St does two schools a favor and hires Mick Cronin

McDermott ending up at Ohio St and Devries ending up at Creighton is the monkey paw outcome here

That number is very dependent on whether or not you include the 4 Pac-12 teams we're adding.
-
If you include their run to the B1G semis, they won 5 of their last 7 last season

Feels like the take that all metrics should mirror those that favor Nebraska would not resonate strongly on a most people Michigan St board.
-
The argument that cherry picked metrics should mirror each other isn't ever going to be a compelling one.

So, what does everyone think of the new starting lineup?
hhcmatt replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I think you mean JL, not CJ. He played more minutes coming off the bench the last two games than the previous two that he started as playing time in the guard rotation tends to be performance based as the game unfolds. Via KenPom -

Student section out there playing 8 dimensional chess -
The thing that's it's tough to account for when you're drag and dropping players like this is how does Sallis handle having to play PG for Fred and how does Lawrence look then moving back to SG. Regardless we're likely a better team with Sallis given that we're getting zero from Boogie.

If you haven't been there in a while you'll be absolutely shocked by the remodel. It's a different building.

The flights out of Omaha that connect in Denver or Chicago tend to work out ok out of Lincoln.
-
Casually checking one way flights out of Omaha to all these locations around tourney time and ATM they're all reasonable, FWIW

So, what does everyone think of the new starting lineup?
hhcmatt replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
At the end of the day when looking through the lineup permutations I think one big thing is to not have Lawrence and Allick on the court at the same time. Thus, when we're talking about Gary instead of Lawrence, that's good. When we're talking about Allick instead of Lawrence, it's a bit of a wash. Whether you start Lawrence or Allick probably depends on who you're playing and what sort of personnel they role out. Nebraska might opt to start Lawrence on Saturday because Penn St is going to constantly put pressure on you and they want as many ball handlers on the court as possible. -

Winning at home doesn't move the needle for us because it's assumed we will win out there.
-
At the end of the day we likely need to win 4 of the next 6 which is another way of saying over .500 in the conference or win at least one on the road in conference.
-
Sort of cool to see all sorts of logins because we're doing well as opposed to searching for a coach

Congrats to Shavon Shield's dad's team
