Sickle cell trait is a known issue exacerbated by altitude; Former NFL safety Ryan Clark ended up having his spleen and gall bladder removed after a game in Denver. The one specific thing I heard is that this wasn't altitude related.

Maybe he'll catch the Kansas-Duke game on tv

That's sort of the first thought that crosses your mind....like if the website isn't working the first thought is probably I broke it trying to update it because that's happened before.

it's been brought up in the post-game Colorado thread about the amount of games he might miss though not why The word on the street is that he might be out until December. If this was a typical basketball related injury issue, you'd at the very least year that he's dealing with a {body part} I'd assume that we'll hear something at the presser before the Maine game.

Hoiberg on Sports Nightly 10-31 Saw resiliency Pleased with defense at the end of the first half Knows about the slow starts Altitude got to some of the guys, notably Blaise who also was under the weather Platitudes for Oleg; great poise and footwork, has put in a lot of work on his body Complemented Ramel on his physicality, noting a couple of block outs. (Seems like coach speak for Lloyd needing to work on his defense to get more PT) Noted that Lawrence fired off 3 shots with no hesitations and that's the role they want for him right now (This also seems like Keisei's role) Going to evaluate the starting lineup; considering Gary in there but likes his energy off the bench They took away the flop warning this season Talked about CJ Wilcher's struggles thus far Talked about Sam's height and his versatility that allows him to post up Ernie Zeigler has been on the road "a lot" for recruiting. Expect some visitor in the near future Majority of the time will be man to man but have a zone defense installed Look for Denim Dawson to pick up the PG on defense when he's out on the court

Hearing that Walker might be out at least the first 7 games though absolutely no idea why. Hoiberg declined again to get into specifics on Sports Nightly so I'm left to wonder if it's non-injury related as it's pretty common to name a body part that keeps a player out. -

Amazing 180 degree reactions from last year's exhibition game. The two biggest takeaways for me were - Is Derrick Walker going to miss regular season games? - Oleg looks like a good use of a scholarship -

Derrick didn't play tonight due to the very vague "health care reasons" -

The things I'd be concerned about in this particular matchup are the 9 offense rebounds given up and the uncontested layups in transition. -

Seems like Derrick Walker being available to play is going to be important this season -

I'll see if I can get Cam Mack on Cameo for $10 to see what he thinks -
Return exhibition game at Coloarado 5pm - Can be seen online here http://pac-12.com/live/cubuffs Most everyone is familiar with last year's drubbing of the Buffalos in 2021 which turned out to be fool's gold as reality hit early and often after dropping the season opener at home to Western Illinois. What people might not know is that Colorado came slowly out of the gate last season, scrapping by lower tier teams as they built up chemistry which cumulated into a NIT appearance. The Buffs are losing 3 of their starters from last year but they recruit well and should be a team that will likely play in some post-season. Under Tad Boyle their calling card has been defense and rebounding thus the biggest takeaway from this exhibition might be how well this new group of Cornhuskers hold up on the board against a team that possesses D-1 length.

Not to be confused with the 'competitive spirits' that might be used to fuel Husker fan's return to the court.

Was he coming here if we cleared him?
-
He's been in college for 4 years so there is a pretty good chance he is a grad student

If this team has a surprise star, who's it going to be?

Derrick Walker is going to be upset when he hears this podcast while he's hauling corn to Blair -
To me the most noteworthy thing was the discussion about us picking up defensively further down the court and especially on dead balls. Look for Bando to pick up the opposing team's PG a lot.

I see your dilemma on how to classify this as it was neither interesting nor humorous. -
Guy can pass the ball and get to the FT line but I'd agree. He's a 6'5" post player so it's not a good fit for us. Given we don't have an open scholarship there is a slim chance he could be a guy we try and snag if someone gets injured before december.

If you consider New Mexico a high D-1 school, you nailed it
