As much as I think that Diongue won't pan out, he'd be a great get with one of our 2 remaining scholarships just because his ceiling is so high. He blows you out of the water with what he's capable of....which is why he so highly regarded.
He's a 4 star recruit because if he puts it together he's a NBA player. You can't teach the physical ability he has....he's probably a better center prospect that Eduardo Andre in that regard. The guy has only been playing basketball for about 4 years so there is a chance he's going to get good.
I can see why Adrame Diongue would be intriguing but his numbers sort of scream 'there is a 15% chance I might be good in 2-3 years'. End of the bench lottery ticket scholarship 13 kind of guy.
on the other hand, people potentially paying thousands-millions of dollars in tuition for walk-ons which opens up more D-1 scholarships isn't the worst way for money to be spent

I haven't seen him play but it's a little telling that he hasn't been brought up once other than a tweet on here. Might have been a different story if we had been at 12 scholarships because and thought he would have been a good stash. Wonder if our interest level would have changed once he started at Sunrise.
Given he's from Lincoln he'd be a major 'we let this guy get away' if he pans out. Seems much more likely he gets bounced after a year like many 13th scholarship guys.
